Awesome family trip

Beautiful property!!! Very spacious rooms. Awesome pools and tons of activities for kids! I would skip the on site restaurant our breakfast was terrible. Housekeeping needs a little more training on customer service skills they would knock on the door early in the morning even though the do not disturb sign was the door!

Very good for family

If you are going with a big family, this hotel is ideal. It is not far from the parks. There is small store inside the campus for essentials which is very convenient.

Disney Trip

The amenities are great at this hotel. Our kids enjoyed the pools very much and the grounds are beautiful. There was a slight misunderstanding with our room location. Although the hotel staff tried to correct it, it was a little disheartening that we were unable to have a view of the grounds.

Great Place

We live in Florida and travel to Orlando a few times a year so I have been to many hotels, homes, etc. This place was really beautiful. It was very large. We stayed in the Bella section. I asked for the St. Augustine section top floor because it is by the pirate pool but it was full. First, we were placed on the 3rd floor in Bldg.1 pretty close to the main pool. We did hear some bass music from the pool music but it wasn't too bad. By the 3rd night we couldn't handle all the noise anymore! The walls seem paper thin and the people above us, I swear were playing sports, doing aerobics, or doing something crazy because all we heard all night was pounding. We called the front desk (and mind you it is late and I have 3 kids). They sent a security guard knocking on our door. I didn't want our kids to wake up. That was the whole point. So the 2nd night we called about the noise we asked them to please not send the guard. They said they have to, but then they said they would send them to the noisy room. Yes, thank you. Well, by the 3rd night of lack of sleep we asked to be moved to a top floor. We were moved to Bldg. 2. Even though we had to pack all of our stuff all over again it was worth it for a nice remainder of our vacation. This was much better! No pounding! We heard some noise from next door, but it wasn't bad at all! The 2nd room did have an odor to it, but we bought some glade and that helped. One of the spa tub tiles was broke and some mold on the shower door. I did notice some recent stains on our blanket under our comforter. It was makeup and shoe prints so obviously the blanket wasn't washed before us. Ok, enough complaining. This place is huge! You can walk it. The grounds are beautifully kept! We walked around and found a bridge with these huge fish to feed. There are 3 pools total and playgrounds. It isn't that bad of a walk if you don't mind taking a nice stroll to the other sections of the hotel. It is placed on International Drive which has restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc. The location was great for us because it was pretty much in between Universal and Disney which we did both. 15 min. from Disney. Not bad.The hotel has a whole list of daily activities. They seemed like a lot of fun, but most things do cost extra. The rooms have nearly everything you need. Washer dryer, utensils, cups, plates, baking utensils. They didn't have a baking pan in our 2nd room for some reason, but that wasn't a big deal. The beds were super duper comfy! I loved the king size bed as my baby sometimes wakes up demanding to sleep with mommy and daddy. The pull out couch was perfect for my son. The 2nd bedroom was great with its own bathroom and shower as well. The screened in balcony was great! We had our breakfast out there and the view was beautiful! The front desk were very nice and tried to accommodate us. I do wish the pool felt a little warmer. We traveled in December and had a beautiful cold front, but just too chilly to swim. So I felt the pools were a bit wasted. They had movie nights by the pool and smore family campfires, etc. Loads of family activities to enjoy. The timeshare desk did not bother us at all. They simply said the offer a free breakfast, discounts, and will give $100 if we join them for breakfast. They never used the word "timeshare", but we knew what they were pitching. When we declined, they said ok and that was it. No pressure no more questions. Nice and easy! Our last night the Magic Kingdom closed at 3am so we knew we would be zonked out! I called asking for a late check out and they very nicely gave us until 12 noon! We were more then thankful! All in all, this really was a great experience for us. As I said we have been to so many different places and this one was great! Just could have done without all the noise in the beginning. Next time I will make sure we have a top floor from the get-go. We do love trying out new places because you never know what gems you will find. This one is a keeper.
