The pool looked amazing. The fitness center was small and several machines were out of order. Overall, the hotel was well ... above average. The room was clean and the service was great.

Make sure you know exactly which room you are requesting. I thought I had booked a room with a balcony then found out that ... you have to book a premium one bedroom in order to get the balcony. Also, The standard one bedroom does not come with a full kitchen........

It was good at the beginning, but I think there is a problem with the trash, in the room they do not pick up the trash, ... neighbors would put the garbage next to the door of elevator and it would stay there for a while and in the middle of the street in the parking lot there is liquid of trash from the truck I think, very strong. Not very enjoyable. For the check out only one person attending for a croud of people waiting in the lobby.

The hotel itself was fine, except for the dripping shower that I had to put towels in to muffle the noise at 2:00 am. We had ... the miss fortune of a very noisy room above us. Just rude people with no regard for others. But part of the problem is the construction allows for a excessive noise between rooms. Most hotels are built with more concrete between the floors, but this was more like the upstairs in a house.

Just what we needed

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. It had enough space for all of us. The location was perfect, near our ... destination, Aquatica and restaurants as well as Publix. I think we were in a newer section which was beautiful, so I can't say how the other buildings were. There was a quiet pool if you wanted to get away from the chaos of kids and water toys. We wish we could have stayed longer than two nights.

Stock up on food items at the nearby Publix supermarket so you can have breakfast and snacks in the room. We also got bottled water and aspirin.

WORTHLESS

Well where to we start. When i called for directions, the lady sounded extreamly annoyed and basically asked me to help ... myself to a map. Check-in was extreamly crowded since the check-in time was apparently set in stone we were there 2 hours before check-in and had to kindly wait in the lobby. When it was finally 4PM our rooms wern't ready so they asked us if they could give us a room in differnt section of the hotel... sure i said (couldn't they have done this to start with). Once we get to the room the utencills kindly provided by them had spots on it and then i read the label on the cabinet that said that federal law doesn't require them to sanitize the utencils. Next I opened up the sofa bed and hopped on it BAD idea the rails and springs emebedded themsleves into my back the matress was like a cardboard..... cheap stuff. There was no trash can in the entire room (seriously). So I head down to the pool and that probably was the only experiance of this trip that I enjoyed there were good people there from all over the world and it was a nice big pool with warm water OH and the other guests complained about their rooms too. I called them next morning for some toothpaste and I timed it... they took 47 minutes to deleiver toothpaste to my room. I was gone the whole day when i returned the housekeeping was a JOKE they took the dirty towels and gave me new ones and a shampoo and conditioner and made the bed. THAT was it, they didnt touch the sofa bed, they didnt replace tea towel in kitchen, didnt take out the trash, (not even in the bathroom), they didnt replace sheets, they didn't clean the countertop or anything. I couldnt sleep that night, the walls are paper thin and a door connected my room to my neighbor's room who had company over and they had about 12 too many and were in mood for a party so....well I had to stay up through it. That night I called room service for a blanket and an extra pillow 2 hours pass by so I give them a call and check status and she said "We are really short on people and we are getting toomany calls we are aware of your problem and we will fix it as soon as we can" another hour pass by... total of 3 hours they knock at the door at 2 in the morning and they give me a pillow and 2 bed sheets and said they were out of blankets............. are you KIDDING me? we checked out the next day which was quick and painless. This hotel was the worst hotel expierence I have ever had PLEASE be careful of this particular branch of Sheraton I have been to other Sheratons but vistana villages Orlando was by FAR the worst of any hotels or even MOTELS i have stayed in. I wish I can get a refund for this.

This hotel includes more extras than you would ever thought. For example, inside the room there is: Free laundry with ... detergents (washing machine and dryer), all the home apliances that you usually have (microwave, stove, conventional oven, plattes, dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator, can opener, toaster, wine opener, knives, spoons, forks, and much more, TRUST ME, EVERYTHING) The kitchen has granite counter top. Everything is top of the line. Friendly staff. Big area of pool and activities, basketball and tennis court, GYM, Waterfalls(pool area) and small lakes inside the property. Bus shuttle to parks. You should know that this hotel is a TIMESHARE hotel. That means that there will be IDIOTS trying to sell you timeshares (beware) but you can take avantage of them, they will offer you free tickets to the parks if you listen to them. GREAT HOTEL. I recommend it 100 percent. The only negative thing that I can remenber its these idiots trying to sell timeshares.

Great place to stay. Just be careful when you check in, they send you to the timeshare desk for a free gift. The gift is a ... bunch of coupons for local restaraunts. If you sign up for the time share tour, be sure to take it or they have the option to charge you full fare for a continental breakfast.

The Sheraton Vistana Resort is very close to the Downtown Disney shopping area. Our 11 year old daughter wanted to eat at the T-Rex restaurant nearby and it was an easy drive there and back. The resort location is central to alot of the shopping and dining in the area.
