Spacious and fully equipped one or two-bedroom villa will give your vacation a stylish flair. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The villa was very comfortable and clean. I stayed at the villa with my two adult ... sons and their girlfriends, every one had their own space and television. The location is great also. There are pools,restaurants, mini-golf and lots of activities to do on site. Only one thing that I was not aware of until I got to the villa, these are timeshares and I received two telephone calls from sales people requesting that I attend a "meeting" to learn more about the community. I would love to return at a later date, but would not want to be receiving telephone calls from sales people selling timeshares.

Fountains - Disappointed!

Went for my child's birthday weekend at Disney. My brother stayed at this resort over the summer and was happy, so we booked ... it. We were put in the Fountains area right near I-4. All night long we could hear the traffic/trucks going by! The inside of the unit was nice & comfortable - my hubby complained about the "smell"? The electrical outlet in the master sink area didn't work? Strange-anytime I called the hotel line a recording picked up & had to wait a few minutes before a live person picked up. On check out, we went to the Zimmie's Restaurant for breakfast and the Marketplace and what a difference that area is! Nice pools, newer, maintained - definitely stay on that side. If we hadn't seen that we could have NEVER stayed at Vistana again. And we are SV Owners!

Almost got in to the "time share tap", the friendly staff set me up to get "free" tickets just need to watch a ... "presentation".... After lost a hole morning and many fone call later I find out in the hard way nothing is Free... sadly this will be the strongest memories from this tip!!! So if you go, and the Hotel is nice, DO NOT get even close to the people oferin "free" gifts.

BEAUTIFUL Resort-GREAT Location

What a bargain! We booked a reservation on Orbitz for my 40th for a 1 bedroom unit (keep in mind there are 1 bedroom ... efficiencies and 1 bedrooms with a door-choose the higher price 1 bedroom to get the one with the door (a little confusing)) The resort is going through a total remodel. We first checked into a remodeled efficiency which was BEAUTIFUL but just a little too small for us-family of 4 (kids 8 & 10)-little too close for comfort. We asked to move and was moved to a 1 bedroom in a different area that was not remodeled yet-worked out just fine-and no additional costs. We booked a package that had a bonus $50 resort coupon book. What a deal! The book had many $5 coupons and discounts at their local stores. (More than $50 worth) Bought smoothies, alcoholic drinks, merchandise, you name it, you could use it. The unit had a W/D, DW, balcony, DVD player & stereo. The sleeper sofa & beds were comfortable. My kids want to move in! This is a timeshare resort and they do call you to schedule a tour. You can so NO but we said YES with a nice incentive. We are glad we did! We said YES to being owners! I worked as an employee in the past at a sister resort, Vistana Beach Club, and know the employees are trained professionally and they do everything first class! So excited! What a great PRESENT! We went to a Disney location almost everyday we were there, super great LOCATION, never took longer than 15 min to get anywhere.

Quick check-in/check-out, very friendly people. The room was spotless. All the equipment (TVs, Oven, Fridge, DVD, etc) was ... new and excellent quality. Location is close to all parks, downtown, etc, only minutes away from everything and 1 minute to I-4 access so we get anywhere very fast.

1. No shuttle bus from airport ( $52.00 ); 2. Wireless internet did not work. Ask 2 times to fix it. Never happened; 3. Lots ... of staff did not speak English; 4. Very inconvenient shuttle bus schedule from Disney Parks. Other than that it was OK, but I don't think I'm coming back there.

The staff was excelent! The grounds were nice, great amenities. The room on the otherhand was very poor. A 2 star at best. ... The Cheap Tickets room picture was definately not the room we received. Hard bed, small hard couch, 1 wicker chair and a 14 inch TV in the living area. No balcony. Kitchen was ok. The door that ajoined the next suite was poorly sealed. You could see light through the cracks. Also, you hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the next room. Lastly, this is a timeshare. Expect to get continous calls from the staff asking you to a breakfast to purchase a timeshare. Here is a great selling idea; put potintial clients in your nicer rooms, they then may be interested in buying. We will not be returning.

You are greated by everyone in check-in, everyone is so helpful we arrived early and our room was not going to be ready for ... 30 minutes. Mike from the front desk order a pizza for my daughters while they waited......and would not take payment from us.

You are right down the street from Disneyworld, shopping and resturants however if you don't want to leave the villa you can have anything delivered. If you have a family there is an on-site market that makes picking up cheerios and milk really helpful.

Room not up to par with past visits

We have stayed at the Vistana on numerous other occasions. These were at the two bedroom villas, which we used through our ... time share and were quite nice. This one bedroom was booked through Orbitz, and was obviously one of the older, outdated ones. The view from the front window was of buildings being remodeled. The view from the bedroom window was of the top of a palm tree, which blocked the view of the nice lake and fountain. The bed took up most of the room, with a small end table on only one side of the bed and a part of the wall right next to the bed on the other. There was a large, old style tv in a cabinet, but nowhere in the bedroom to set anything on. The top of the mattress at the head of the bed sloped down. The very small, old style tv in the living area was virtually impossible to watch while sitting on the couch, and was only viewable from the one rattan chair opposite it. We noted that the room next door to ours had new flat screen tvs. While trying to use the whirlpool tub, I was distressed to find that the water kept draining out of the tub, and it took over a half hour for the tub to fill up high enough to get above the jets. While we weren't traveling with children, I remember from experience how difficult it used to be to try to bath children in a bathroom with sliding glass doors on the high tub. We didn't cook, but kitchen facilities seemed adequate, tho' nothing like the ones in the villas. Room was clean and pillows were plentiful. Don't think this was a very good representation of what the Vistana has to offer.

When going to the Universal Studios area, avoid heavy interstate traffic or International Drive congestion by taking 535/Vineland to Sand Lake Road.

W swimming pools were beautiful and very versatile-for instance one had a waterfall, one had a beach, a few had kiddie ... pools-just gorgeous and not tto crowded, also the hotel offers all kinds of activities-one night they had a movie at the pool and had a fire where you could buy packages of ingredients to make smores.

If you are driving to Disney?s parks, try to arrive at opening hours so you will get to park your car not that far from the entrance, and you can enjoy the most popular attractions at that hour as the parks are not full yet.
