Villa accommodations and recreational activities in tropical setting
The Sheraton Vistana Resort is in a lush, park-like setting dotted with palm trees, fountains and pools that attracts leisure travelers to this Lake Buena Vista resort. Guests hole up in one- or two-bedroom villas equipped with kitchens for extended stays or take advantage of the many leisure options onsite, like hard and clay tennis courts and bicycle rentals. Great family hotel
We had a great time at this resort, lots for families to do. Pools are great, we loved the minigolf, and the comedy show was cute. Our only problem was with the main restaurant on the resort - Zimmie's. The food was terrible and the staff was lacking. For the prices they were charging we expected more in terms of service and food.

Johnnie's hideaway, crossroads strip mall. One of the nicest restaurants you will find. Food, service and ambiance are all top shelf.

Great place to stay with family
Very nice hotel, villa type rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities and rooms are quite nice and well kept up. The location is fantastic if you are going to them parks and/or downtown Disney.

Great for families who hate hotels
Beautiful villas compound made us feel like home away from home. Spacious two bedroom unit allowed everyone in the family comfort and privacy. Tastefully well appointed rooms within a very pleasant setting. It's a time share resort, so you will be asked to listen to a sales pitch––but you get a valuable free gift that makes it worth your time...and you can always say "no" without getting any high-pressure push.

It's Orlando, so you're limited to mostly chain restaurant choices. Landry's Seafood (virtually across the street) turned out to be our favorite. We actually went two nights in a row.

Too Much Selling
Has all the amenities but the ambiance was derailed by the staff's incessant phine calls to come to a reception and buy a time share. We just wanted to have fun and chill out.

Very nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly. The one bedroom condo was comfortable for two people any more than that would be cramped. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Really Comfortable, Private and Relaxing
The sheraton vistana resort was awesome. It is located near all the attractions and restaurants. The rooms were immaculate. We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa. it had a washer/dryer unit, a full kitchen with soap, utensils, pots and pans, etc. The balconies are screened in so you can enjoy the outside anytime of the day without worrying about bugs. The rooms were completely bug-free. Everything there was brand-new. I learned this resort went through a massive renovation in Feb 2011. The pool is beautiful and is perfect for all ages. The staff was very accommodating. I would certainly go back the next time I visit Orlando. I will say that they left many messages trying to get me to attend the free breakfast and time-share presentation. But since I was not interested, It was easy to ignore them and tell them, thanks but no thanks. If you need a handicap accessible villa, always call them for accommodations, one part of their resort does not have elevator access. The hottubs were always full even in slow-season. Mixed drinks at the poolside bar are a little expensive. There are 9 of them on the resort but they are actually hard to locate. The room also comes with travel magazines with discounts to restaurants. Even if you don't care about the discounts, the magazines can assist in ideas of where to eat. I would recommend this resort to anyone. It is great for all ages. Clean and quiet and beautiful.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Driving: universal studios only took 12 minutes, downtown disney takes 5 minutes (theater, planet hollywood etc), restaurants take 3 min or less. Seaworld.. about 15 min. Disney is also super close, about 10 min. the sizzler for breakfast is great, cici's pizza next to mini golf is great for families with small children.
