Radisson Hotel Orlando - International Drive

Ordered Room service BUT discovered only 1/3 of the menu was available. Then phone didn't work since entree ordered never arrived. Staff claimed "technical difficulites". BEWARE!!

Excellent stay, my room had all the ammeties for a business traveler, although a bigger bed would have been nice, the room I stayed had 2 full size bed. I went almost everynight for dinner at the Brick House wich was just a 3 min walk, good food, great selection of beers.

My door to my room was not working and when i approached several workers to assist me with making a new key they blamed it on the fact that my phone was too close to it. On one of my visits to the desk and back to my room i literally had just the card on me and it still didnt work...and when i asked for help to get into my room i waited an hour and 10 min for some to come up. My sheets on my bed were dirty and not clean even when replaced. After all that i was charged a 40$ resort fee. Although it was in a convenient location and the resort looked nice on the outside. The service was sub par which was quite unfortunate for a nice looking place.

Inspite of booking through cheap tickets and when it was confirmed to me by online helpdesk (when asked based on the reviews published earlier regarding the hotel tendancy) that all charges are included in the final online bill, $10 per day was charged to me by the hotel as Resort fee. Hotel front desk staff and the manager were unfriendly and not willing to listen. Post reaching orlando, I realised that it was an off season and there are many good hotels that provided even complimentary breakfast which this hotel did not provide. Service was poor and needs follow up for towels, tea/coffee etc.. Only one lift was working as even commented earlier by many visitors to this hotel. Number bed was not working. No value for money at all.

I was somewhat disappointed that when I got to the hotel, both the restaurant and the pool bar were closed and no room service was available. The gift shop also had strange hours. I believe their website should have specified that these were not available, as it would have impacted my decision greatly. In addition, I had an issue with my toilet in my room and I called to have it fixed and no one ever showed up so I dealt with it. Probably won't stay again.

The hotel staff was average with the exception that they compromised hotel fire safety by allowing people to park in the fire lanes overnight. The room was comfortable, the sleep number beds worked well, but the elevator inspections had lapsed - in fact one elevator stopped working the day we left! There was no air conditioning in the attached restaurant and we were not allowed to charge meals to our room. The location was good, but the free shuttle only dropped us off and picked us up at one time each day, and the park closed one hour earlier than the return pickup time one day. $10.00 - $12.00 for a cab ride one way to/from Universal Orlando from this hotel.

It was very good and all my familiy in joy as well they want to go back next year

I got the hotel at a good price. The room was clean comfy. The hotel in a central location. I was happy with the ntire experince

My stay at the Radisson was full of little inconveniences that led to a lot of frustration. It took over two hours for us to get inside of our room because the keys wouldn't work. After the 3rd set, someone had to clean the key pad and reset the entire door code. This was annoying because we couldn't do anything or go anywhere until we got into our room. The sleep number bed also had to be reset (which took 3 days) so that we could adjust the firmness. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. If you ran the faucet the water was scalding, but if you used the shower it was lukewarm at best. Then the pressure, would almost cut off then cut back on full force and burn the heck out of you. I was also charged a convenience fee of $10 a day for access to the YMCA and parking. When I went to the front desk about these problems the staff was very helpful and polite; however, would always refer me to speak to the manager (who was never in at that time). Finally, when I went to check out (with my 5th set of keys!) the manager wouldn't even come out of his office to speak to us about the problems we has encountered during our stay and to talk about the $90 fee we were charged. I thought is was unacceptable that the manager wouldn't even give us the time of day and we were sent packing without any kind of compensation or apology for the problems we encountered. I will never stay at another Radisson as a result of this manager's rudeness!

Very good location for exploring Orlando,set back from International Drive,close to the I4,many shops and restaurants within walking distance.Good sized rooms of a reasonable standard.No real problems to report.Pool area is quite small,but there is an aquatic centre next door which I understand is free to Radisson guests.Parking is free and we always found a space whatever time of day.
