Good for the money
The hotel was a great value. Stairways and elevators a little rundown, and room was dusty in corners and under bed. But AC worked, pool looked clean, and breakfast was more than adequate. Staff was very pleasant, and I did not have problems with noise from other rooms.

Do not stay here
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty, they didnt have the King room I had reserved, so I had to get the 2 full, the TV was cracked and only got 4 channels, and when the toilet clogged one night, I had to wait until the next afternoon to get it fixed. Go somewhere else, this one is not where you want to spend that kind of money.

Affordable Universal Experience
The King Room Suite was clean and comfortable. It's location was only a mile away from Universal and Islands of Adventure. If location and pricing are key, this would be a great hotel to stay at. The biggest complaint is that the hotel staffing not knowing when the shuttle leaves and arrives for Universal Studios.

Very pleasantly surprised by the 2-room suite for such a low price.
One exciting add on was a fire alarm going about 11pm. But it soon settled down into a false alarm. The room was exceptionally nice with a small fridge and microwave and 2nd TV in the Suite with its own sink like a little kitchen. I could live here.

Comfortable stay but quality is declining...
As a frequent traveler this hotel was perfectly fine. Nice big suite...hot, but mediocre breakfast...not too noisy...close to Universal...good rate. Here's the thing: you can tell this used to be a chain and when it was was probably very nice. But it looks to have been sold and it is starting to show its age. It doesn't appear the new owners take pride in quality (rips in carpet, drawer that didn't work, paint on curtains) but it still smelled fine, was comfortable and spacious with fridge and microwave. In a few years this place could be in trouble.
