The high-rise property delivers on style and service, with soaring marble halls, orchid-filled rooms, full service spa and private club with views of the city.

Rooms

Miniature palms add softness to rooms, which come with Wi-Fi, signature Peabody Dream beds, work desk and chair, spa-like bathrooms and luxury bath products.

Features

The tradition established by sister property the Peabody Memphis always draws a crowd who are eager to see the mallards splashing in the Atrium Fountain before returning to their Royal Duck Palace. For more entertainment, visitors flock to the outdoor pool, the full-service spa and the four restaurants on site, including the Peabody Wine Cellar, which keeps bottles at the right temperature and humidity for optimum consumption.

Weekend Trip

We visited family in Orlando over the Memorial Day weekend. I had somewhat high expectations, having stayed at the Peabody in Memphis a few years ago. Turns out the hotel was pretty so-so. Of course, I may have a bad taste in my mouth after our check-in experience. We arrived at midnight, checked in, went up to the room, opened the door, and there were people in our room! Talk about awkward, at least they weren't doing anything. So we get a new room at the front desk. I'm not one to complain to get a free stay, but a manager never even contacted me afterwards to apologize, much less offer anything. Also, i had reserved a room with a king bed and they said they didn't have any at check-in, so we took two queens. Amenities - the tv in the bathroom mirror was kinda cool. Paid the mandatory $10 a day hotel service fee but never used anything i was paying for. Fridge was cold and had two bottles of water as a nice touch. No coffee in the room. Location - decent if you're doing stuff on I-drive, but more of a pain to get anywhere else due to traffic. Room cleanliness - only one issue here, a couple of spots that appeared to be bodily fluid on the bed skirt. We slept in the other bed. Room comfort - Not bad for a queen bed, but the pillows were too small and not very supportive. Staff - Never any problems here. The valet staff were excellent and always had the car ready on time. Front desk staff were also very attentive. Value - Average. Next time i'd probably stay downtown for a similar price.

Peabody hotel

We were disappointed because this was the first hotel we have ever stayed at where they expected the visitors to pay for parking. They didn't provide a complementary continental breakfast which is usually part of the cost of the stay in most other hotels. The diner was 3 times more expensive than what I would have expected. Cleanliness was marginal. They didn't vacuum the floors one night and the toilet was not rinsed with antibacterial liquid. However, it was a beautiful hotel with excellent accommodations and facilities in a great location but watch out for hidden expenses.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Make sure you go grocery shopping instead of eating at the hotel. You can spend enough eating at the diner one day to pay for an entire week's worth of groceries.

memorial day getaway

the room was nice, they have tv in the bathroom mirrior. They kids enjoyed that. when we got back from the parks they had still had not cleaned our rooms. they didn't get to our until after 430pm. we had to find something to do instead of getting to relax until dinner. we had a broken frig in our room, instead of replacing they brought another in placed in corner or our room. When you lied in bed it was eyesore. not what you expect for this type of resort. our check in packet had a invitation to peabody Club that said free valet and conciege level service. the hotel manager would not honor it and said it was a miskate. thank you for getting our hopes up

Great Florida Spring Break

My family had a great time at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. The beds, linens and bathroom were very nice. The pool was great and the kids loved it. The hotel had tons of restaurants and activities a short drive away. The only drawbacks were the self-parking was a ways away and the pool food service was practically non-existent.
