Great Experience
This hotel is absolutely beautiful, only a 10 minute or so cab ride to anywhere you want to go. They even offer a free trolley service that goes pretty much anywhere of interest nearby. Its also right across the street and connected to the convention center. The food is fantastic, they have great pools, its just overall an outstanding place to stay. If you go to Orlando this is the hotel to stay at.

Family Getaway / Convention
This hotel is clean, staff is competent and very friendly and the amenities are so expansive that they are too many to mention. Rooms spacious and comfortable, great room-darkening drapes! Delicious restaurants and plenty of room for kids to play. The Peabody Ducks ALONE are worth the trip. Pools are a dream. Lobbies are huge, well-lit and wireless internet throughout the hotel is great. A Perfect Place for Any Occasion! I cannot wait to go back!!!! Thanks for the opportunity.

Awesome!
We really enjoyed the Peabody - the pool is awesome, the staff were all wonderful, the room was updated and clean. Beds were very comfortable. My whole family had a terrific experience at this hotel. It is also in walking distance to many restaurants and places with things to do.

Business and Personal Getway
The booking price was misleading since the hotel adds a daily resort fee, then an additional parking fee for a toital of $27 more per day. Compared to other area 4 star hotels with no parking fee or resort fees, this was not really a deal. The AC simply could not cool the room down at night, and the refrigerator did not work. The AC vent in the bathroom was filthy and covered in dust. We dined at the NAPA restaurant, and whild our server was delightful, the food was not good. The soups were very oversalted, the Ciopinno would have had potential, but it was so heavily overdone on the hot pepper that it was inedible. The four star rating is really a stretch. We had stayed here several times previously and were disapointed in the decline this time around.

Lots of hidden costs...makes it ordinary , indeed.
Visiting Orlando at least twice a year, we chose the peabody this time since it was recommended to us by our family. However, the reviews are right: they charge 16 per day for selfparking & $10 per day for hotel fee (whatever that means), =ing an additional $200 in our stay. they also charged $5 for receiving a fedex package for us!! Please consider these costs, since you can get any amazing resort in orlando for the same cost.

A very nice conference hotel
Overall, we were very happy with the Peabody. We felt the rates were very fair for what the hotel delivered. It's a perfect location for those attending a conference but I think that if our trip purpose had been pleasure, we might have opted to stay in/closer to one of the amusement parks.

If going to Disney, use the Mear's shuttle service. You have to give up a bit of flexibility in terms of times but the savings is huge over a taxi.
