Family Vacation.
Excellent vacation spot for family. We were in Orlando to visit Disney Land. This hotel offered a great escape from the hussle and bustle of the attraction spots. It was like going home at night to relax. Very comforting. The pool area was lovely, My daughter was thrilled. We saved money by staying at this hotel as it gave our family the option to eat in the room. We ate better nutritional meals as a result instead of fast food or expensive suppers out.

Great Place for Families
The Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa was the beginning of our vacation. The Condo was fairly new and accomodated our family of 6. We didn't know what we were going to be expecting, but we were very pleased. The location was very convienent to all the parks and we also made a trip to the Urgent Care down the road. The only thing that I would express concerns was the doors to get into the hotel on the 2nd floor parking didn't work sometimes.(Building B) This caused us to walk all around the building and enter through the front entrance.

More than met expectation
The hotel more than met our expectation. Check-in was smooth. The staff was friendly and immediately followed up on our opinion of the room after we were in the room for about thirty minutes. The only negative was that they did not put enough bath towels in the room. When we requested some they said that they had run out of them. So, we had to wait about two days for bath towel. Also I wish they would add more shuttle pickups from the Disney Park (Epcot.)

Close enough to Downtown Disney
This condo-hotel is three miles from Downtown Disney (two miles due east of I-4.) We only stayed one night, as we were celebrating a birthday at Pleasure Island (Disney's nightclub area). Resort is very new, and nicely decorated in an upscale island theme with dark wood and gold and red colors. Master suite has big jetted tub, separate more private shower and private toilet. Second bedroom, on opposite side of unit, had two twin beds, with its own closet. The second full bath was big and right next to the twin bedroom. Each bedroom had its own TV. Plus there was a large flat screen TV in living room. Moderate size iving room had nice couch and two oversize arm chairs facing TV. Balcony had table and four chairs (the standard white plastic style). As you enter the unit, the dining area is the first thing you see, with the kitchen directly to its left, and living area straight ahead next to balcony. Bedrooms are on either side of the central living area. Kitchen is separated from dining area by half wall/bar (but no bar stools which might have been nice - although there is probably not enough room for them as dining area is small.) Kitchen is nice if small, but has full size referigerator, full size coffee maker, micro, overn, etc. Dishes, utensils, were somewhat limited but more than adequate for simple meals. This area does not have a restaurant on every corner, but is only 3 miles from Disney. Wine and cheese before we went out for the night, and then coffee and danish in the morning. We normally rent a house if we stay for 4 nights or more, but for shorter stays, we would definitely consider this resort again.

Short drive from hotel
If you go about 1 mile east of resort, there is a Super Walmart. We got snacks, coffee cake, and sodas, and the prices seemed the same as those at home (not the higher-tourist ones that you find in some of the stores around Disney.)

Excellent accommodations reasonably priced.
Our stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa was wonderful. Our unit was spacious, reasonably priced, relatively new, clean and afforded our family privacy and comfort. The master bedroom was quite large, including a whirlpool tub, as well as a large, bright, shower stall. The decor was warm and relaxing. Our bedroom was separated from the second bedroom by a spacious combination living room, which included a queen size sofa bed, large screen television, and an eating area - immediately off of the kitchen/laundry area. Our unit was well-insulated, well-furnished, and provided all of the comforts of home. The surrounding area gave us access to outlet shopping, restaurants, the swimming pool and other spa features. The hotel was very accommodating with shuttles to and from the parks, and we were a short drive from other attractions in the area. Our stay was carefree, relaxing and absolutely something I would do again. My husband and I enjoyed privacy we do not have in our own home, and our kids had ample space & their own private quarters as well.

Excellent Value and Great Location
You can't go wrong with this hotel. Great location and the rooms are wonderful, especially, if traveling with a family. The room was spacious and the jacuzzi tub relaxing after a day shopping at the outlets, located just outside of your hotel. Highly recommend.

Great Value for the family
I was so surprised to find this hotel/condo unit so close to all the atractions in Orlando, 10 minutes from Sea World, Disney, Universal. No to mention the building was brand new. There is an outlet mall in the front with nice shops. The completely furnished kitchen, dishes, soap and dishwasher where awesome. No housekeeping service unless you paid extra but we didn't need it anyways, we are very clean and orderly and we really dont mind using the same towel a couple times. Towels available at the pool - which was so cool - it had a pirate ship in it and a tiki bar at the side. Fun for all. A Walmart less than a mile away to pick up anything you might need. We where upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, the living area had a LCD flat tv. Even included stack washer dryer. The unit had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Just the greatest. Definetly will return. There is 5 buildings, I'd guess about 500 total units, but not full when we visited. The desk was able to give great directions, since its new your in car navigation may have trouble locating so call. I think anyone would love it!!
