very nice place to stay

You pay extra for room cleaning, extra towels, etc. Orbitz did not warn us of this! This is not a typical hotel but as a longer-term vacation/condo it's pretty nice. The term "Luxury Hotel" is very misleading. If that's what you are really looking for, go to the JW Marriott or the Gaylord Palms, both of which are better values and can be had for under $200 a night. You cannot compare this place to a true 4 or 5 star hotel.

Hotel was clean and impressive. Service was not very good. I called the front desk twice and was put on hold each time. After 5 and 10 minutes I hung up. Beds were EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. Black out shades in living room but not in bedrooms is also hard to explain. Nice clean hotel, rooms were clean and beautiful. Overall layout was nice. But sleep was hard to come by.

My husband and I vacationed in Orlando without the kids this time. We were blown away with the hotel. It was simply amazing. We did not expect two large bedrooms, a master suite with a whirlpool tub, full kitchen, dining room table to seat 6 comfortably, two full bathrooms, balcony, etc. The best part was a washer and dryer in the room. Extremely convenient. We have taken many trips with and without the kids. This has to been by far one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in. The grounds and pool are immaculate. There were a few negatives. There is no room service unless you arrange for it ahead of time and it is an extra fee. You will need to budget for resort fees, which we were not aware of until the day we checked out. The Disney parks are further than advertised. Though the hotel provides a shuttle service, it is only twice a day. If you catch a cab, it will cost about $25 one way. You might as well rent a car and come and go as you please if you don't have transportation. There is no hotel restaurant but there is an Irish Pub that serves lunch and dinner. Overall, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

GREAT VACATION CONDO TO STAY AT. NICE POOL GREAT FOR THE KIDS. POOLSIDE BAR WITH FOOD ALSO.

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The convenience store (with great staff) and the Irish Pub meant we didn't need venture out in the evening when we were tired from our day at the Parks. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Kids loved the giant Jacuzzi tub. Only the carpet needed updating, everything else was great!

We loved this hotel we had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival we we're checked in to a room other than the room that we reserved which let me just say was a wonderful treat and surprise. The room was fantastic, it was completely furnished and well stocked we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Everything was great except that we got there at midnight and there was no toilet tissue in any of the two bathrooms and at that time had to call the front desk to bring some up to the sixth floor and then the person at the front desk wanted for us to go get it. No way we just got there and we were exhausted after a long trip, so I suggested that he find someone to bring it to us. He had the security guard bring it up.

The hotel is amazing. The pool is first rate and the location cannot be beat if you stay outside of a Disney resort, 5 minutes to the park is no exageration. Be prepared to pay for extra housekeeping that is typically included, but think of it as renting a condo and you'll be fine. The rooms are huge and the tubs are great. The room looked clean, but our feet and socks were filthy from walking on the rug in our room, whicj was a concern with a toddler. At one point in the afternoon, I called the front desk and it just rang continuosly. Our A/C went on the last night, but they allowed us to move to a new room while keeping our old room as well so that we would not have to pack twice. We also saw the space shuttle launch from the pool.
