Once we arrived, we were asked to pick up our welcome package. The first thing we were asked was, if we are married. Second, ... we should attend the time share interview so we could get tickets for cheap. It was of upmost importance to the staff that all other time share offers would make you upset, but not the holiday inn!! This kind of welcome kit? Save it!! It was upsetting but then again we thought, lets have a drink at the Pool Bar, which surprisingly was closed the entire stay. The rooms were clean and the location is awesome. max five minutes to all the attractions. It is very kids friendly, if you have some.

I had a GREAT trip [...],from my flight to the rental car and the hotel.The price was right and everything was so simple.One ... confirmation e-mail had all the info i needed to check in for all three. I visited Disney and THE HOTEL WAS was a hop skip and a jump to ALL attractions and other hotels.

The best parts of this hotel are all about location. It's only 3 miles away from both Sea World and the Disney Parks and, to ... top it all, offers complimentary shuttle services to Disney, Sea World and Universal so you don't need to worry about crazy traffic or paying to park. My main problem with the hotel is that Guest Service's main duty seems to be to bribe you with cheap tickets and special offers so that you will visit their time share and listen to their long winded presentations. If you are stopped by them, be firm and tell them that you are fine paying full price, etc., because if you are traveling with children the last place you want to be is listening to a high pressure sales pitch! Overall, I would give the hotel a B+. They don't offer a complimentary breakfast but it is located on a main road and neighbors many of Orlando's well known attractions. Plus it's pool is large and accommodating to all different types of vacationers. Just always be on the lookout for those sales pitches!!

Food was not good, especially prime rib. It was unchewable. We did not realize that rooms faced outside( put on jacket to go ... to restaurant). Room was extremely stale smelling. We needed not only to open the door, but to run A/C on high. On the first night there were 7 auto break-ins We did use the computer room. Vey Nice area. I suppose the other amenities were OK. It was a business trip.

MY TIME IN ORLANDO WAS SO SHORT I NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO EXPLORE THE HOTEL. THE POOL LOOKED SO INVITING BUT I NEVER HAD THE ... CHANCE TO GO IN. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT ! WE WERE NEAR JUST ABOUT EVERY RESTAURANT. I LOVED THE FACT THAT 7 ELEVEN AND WALGREENS WERE RIGHT THERE ALSO. THE HIGHWAY TO ALL THE ATTRACTIONS WERE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. PARKING WAS NEVER A PROBLEM NO MATTER WHAT TIME WE CAME BACK. MY NEXT VISIT TO ORLANDO WILL BE LONGER AND I WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.

This is very good hotel close to the Disney Theme Parks, with a great pool. The room and other guest areas were immaculate. ... The room was very nice, good bed, average TV (not flat screen). Two criticisms: the traffic was pretty bad at times leaving the hotel. 10 minute wait in traffic a couple of times getting out to the highway. I also thought the breakfast was a touch too expensive for the quality. It was comparable to continental breakfasts free at other hotels. Go the McDonalds right down the street! One more thing, it says SunSpree is 1 mile from Theme Parks, seems much further to me...

Our group was presenting at a national healthcare convention. Upon check-in about 9:30pm, there was no option in the hotel ... for food or beverage open. They had a great little all-in-one type store on-site but that too was closed. We were presented coupons for 2-for-1 beverages...but as I said the bar and food service locations were closed. The room was clean, but not spotless-my wife would have complained!

Hotel and staff were friendly. Some of the concierge were less than pleasant. And shuttle service to Disney World was limited ... to two departs a day. Other than that, the Hotel was good and very affordable. Double room was huge and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Micro wave and refridgerator in the room. I would stay there again. But definitely rent a car.

Premier outlets are about a 20 minute walk. Right next to the hotel is a seafood house and a Longhorn Steakhouse. Walgreens across the street and a 7-11 next door. The hotel lobby shop also has microwave meals, and other snacks.

Overall hotel was just ok. It was fairly clean. Our room was in the B section which looked better than most of the ... sections. The building color was blah. Needs an overhall, which I guess it what was going on a 1030pm when workers were using a saw outside to cut granite countertops. Really..at that time of night! The elevators stunk really bad like mildew. My husband went to the pool and said it was enjoyable. Pizza flyer was left in our room from which we tried to order had been banned for the hotel. The guest services book in the room listed services which were not even offered in the hotel anymore. This was disappointing. I did want the ice cream. When we did get a chance to go to the lounge/bar area it was closed. For a HI hotel listed as a resort, I would expect much more. I have stayed in dozens of HI hotels and this one is over-rated. There are numerous HI hotels in the same area and we just picked the wrong one. So I would suggest if you want a HI pick one of the others.

This was my twin daughters 17th birthday Disney getaway. We spent most of our time at Downtown Disnay and Magic Kingdom. ... Had a great time! The hotel was okay the room could have been better, however it's in a great location for Dining, and Disney. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

It was close to disney world but it would cost 25.00 to take there bus or taxi to the theme parks. if you don't give 24 hours notice and they don't tell you any of this if you don't ask.
