Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Orlando near Universal Orlando Studios

we were looking for a hotel that had a kitchenette in it so we could store some basic groceries and cook when we needed to. the room was very spacious, and although the kitchenette was lacking an oven it had all the basics we needed for a long weekend. the price was very competitive with a lot of other hotels in the area. shuttles to and from disney were very limited in time, but we were not only there for disney. we were told on the phone that we could check in early, but upon arriving we were told we could not.. that was really our only complaint. hotel was very clean and bed was very comfortable. very nice for the price.

Our stay at Hawthorn suites Universal Orlando was very comfortable. The single bedroom suite had a living room and a separate bedroom with TV in each room. The bedroom had two queen beds, closets with safe lockers. The kitchen had a microwave, refrigerator, stove, steel vessels, coffee pot and dish washer. There was a dining table and the room had free wireless internet access. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area. Everything was well maintained and they even did the dishes. They provide free breakfast which included scrambled eggs, bacon, oat meal, muffins, cereal, bagels, bread, coffee, juice and fruits. In addition they also serve complementary drinks in the evenings. Parking is free and also they provide free shuttle to theme parks. The location was very good and quiet. Grocery and restaurants are within 2 miles.

This hotel has everything you need while on vacation. Large comfortable beds, a small kitchen, pool, etc. Theres a free breakfast in the morning which I was surprised to find. It's not four star dining, but its decent. The location is great, withing walking distance to many great restaurants and activities on International Drive. It is also just a short drive to all the Disney and Universal Parks. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Orlando.

Checking in and out was effortless. Staff was very responsive when we had a problem. The credit card reader would not read our credit card in order to purchase a movie. We were able to get help in ordering our movie. Brought us soap and shampoo that was missing when we checked in. We loved the apartment-like suite and the big kitchen. We like to especially make toast and coffee in the mornings as well as other food items during the day and night. We were very appreciative of the buffet in the mornings. Due to the schedule that we were on we were unable to take advantage of happy hour, but plan to make use of it on our next trip. Our trip was very relaxing and enjoyable, especially since it is located right on top of International Drive. We intend to make this our one and only hotel and we are telling everyone about the price and accomodations. My daughter and her family live in Orlando now, so we will be making many more trips in the future.

Th Hawthorn Suites Universal Orlando was very warm and comfortable, the room was very open and roomy. The applances were very clean, easy to use, and well kept. We love The bedroom it made us want to sleep in all day and bathroom had a warm caring feel to it. The location of your hotel in a good generally quiet location, easy to access and close to all attractions.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and informative. The pool and jacuzzi are awesome and the setting for both is very picturesque. The location is nice, the complimentary hot breakfast and happy hour are great and a nice addition to our package. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how nice the staff is. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. The only upgrades I would suggest are better toiletries in the rooms and flavored cream for the coffee.

We had a four day get-a-way. Flew from Ohio to Orlando on Friday, returned on Monday. Visited Universal Studios. Everything was perfect for us at the hotel with the exception of the shuttle to Universal. Inconvenient times.

Hotel was excellent. Breakfast was good too. The hotel was also close to Universal Studios. They have shuttle too from the hotel to Universal Studios.

We came in late but a room was waiting for us even though the hotel was almost full. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The bedroom has 2 queen sized beds and there is a pull out bed in the living room. It has a kitchen. They provide breakfast, not the greatest, but its free. There's a happy hour every night for 2 hours I where they serve free beer, wine and chips. The pool looks nice although we didn't had a chance to use it. The elevator near the front desk was always busy but there are two more at the end of the hallway. The hotel is next to the famous International Drive where many restaurants and stores are located. We enjoyed our late night walk around the area and we felt very safe. The hotel provides free shuttle to the main attractions. We're very happy with our stay and for the price we paid for.

This hotel was in a great location, close to restaurants, stores, and more importantly universal studios and disney.
