Just a room
Since we did not intend to spend much time at the hotel, this worked for us. The room was older. The tub would not fill for a bath and the window leaked. We were there for a week and the room was not cleaned once. We did request sheets changed and towels changed, but the room was never cleaned. My daughter left an M&M on the floor in the bathroom for a test, and it was still on the floor when we left. They charge extra to have more coffee packets in the room. The breakfast is free, but do not expect it to be wonderful. They do change the menu and then repeat it later in the week. We did have a few free drinks one evening. As far as the location, it worked for us since it was central to all of the activities we had planned.

lacking
needs something to be desired .staff unfriendly and not happy to assist we felt we were putting them out. rooms to heavily fragranced smelled like someone dumped a bottle of fabreze on it. and cleaning staff couldnt speak english.

Disappointing
For the price, I sure expected more. The hotel was remodeling so maybe it will get better but they should have started with the rooms. The room was terribly run down with a broken sleeper couch and peeling cabinets. And really, can we get an elevator that actually goes to all of the floors? Taking the stairs was like a funhouse maze without the fun. And if you reserve a room for six people it seems reasonable to expect six towels. It took two calls and two hours to get extras. Next time I'll pony up an extra $10 and hope for better.

Disappointing
Multiple problems starting with a lobby renovation which made the registration a challenge. It would be nice if the elevators went to all of the floors. Happy hour and breakfast left something to be desired. The room itself had comfortable mattresses, but the appearance was terrible. If they are remodling, they should have started with the rooms.

Room was all dusty, AC didn't cool. broke shower. I complained and they didn't care, no action was taken i had to stay on the same room. this have been the worst hotel expirence in my life

Terrible!!! - Hawthorn Suites Orlando
One of the worst I have stayed at...Free Breakfast was terrible...lost of things missing like ketchup and Jelly. The shuttle took 90 minutes one day to go about 10 minutes away. We stopped at 15 plus hotels... When we arrived there was blood on the curtains...

Not a nice place
The staff was not Friendly and the hotel was not that clean. Stayed only one night instead of four. [...]Kitchens are an upgrade for some rooms.

Horrible
It looks alright from the outside. The room was in terrible shape. The A/C unit made lots of noise and did NOT work. No hangers in the room, called 3 times regarding this and nothing happened. The plumbing was loose and the hot water was barely warm. Finally I had enough and asked for another room since the A/C did not work and was given a room that was a suite (the A/C did work and it had 3 hangers so it was better but not by much). I would not recommend this hotel. I would never stay here again.

the photos on the site are very misleading. we were very disappointed. the only plus was free breakfast. plus, we left a bag of laundry in the room, and i've been calling them ever since, but no one is returning my call. tv was bad, shampoo&conditioner horrible, bathroom lights were dark, hallway smelled, airconditioner was loud and noisy...
