Very Very Nice
I went to the Howthorn for my stay in Florida and to spend some time with my brother. This hotel was one of the best around. When we got there and my room was ready 4 hours ahead of time and they let me get in and to top it off they had a FREE COCKTAIL get together every night for over 2 hours. The outside heated hottub and heated pool was just the icing on the cake! Way to go Hawthorn!!!!!

Go to Al Capons dinner and show! There tickets are 1/2 price on line (about $25.00) when everone elses is over 55.00 and the show was great! We had a blast. Buffet and unlimited drinks. You can't go wrong!

Wonderful Customer Service
[...]The manager gave us a free upgrade since it was my birthday weekend. I really appreciated the customer service. They were helpful our entire stay, giving out directions, suggestions on dining and even small requests such as scissors and safety pins.

I think it was a very enjoyable stay. We were there on business so didn't spend much time at the hotel. But the staff all around was excellent and very professional.

Unbeatable Fantastic Travel Event
The hotel Staff were exceptional-Front Dest Managers[...], and especially [...] (New Hire). Dining area ([...]) I meet every year and they are above reproach in their complimentary service. Hawthorn Suites is my first choice in hotel accomodations. Thanks

Great Service and Escape!
The hotel is very clean and is close to everything. There is a free breakfast and an a social from 5:30 - 7:30 where you can get drinks and snacks for free daily. The hotel has a free shuttle to Universal, Disney, and Seaworld!! it is in walking distance to restaurants, and shops. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Ah-MAZING!
We traveled to Orlando for a Spring Break vacation. The hotel was very close to a couple of our destinations: Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. There is also another little park down the road too-Magical Midway (go karts, arcade, swings, bungee slingshot, and more!) Each suite room had a regular sized refrigerator, 2-burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and glassware. There is also a small dinette set along with a mini-living room with a tv, dvd/vhs player, and boom box. I was very impressed by all of the accomodations! This is one of the best hotels I have encountered for such a low price! There was also a nightly happy hour which offered 2 free beers, glasses of wine, or sodas per person per night. Having a drink by the pool was awesome!

Unbeatable location for the price
The check-in was smooth and effortless. Top notch courtesy and service provided during our entire stay. We had a queen-suite with full-kitchen which helped with the cost of food. The room was very clean and beds were quite comfortable. Convenient stores nearby, ie Walmart Supercenter, the other direction there was a Whole Foods Market and a Publix. If you wanted to stay in and cook you had the option of doing so. International Dr and Universal Dr were nearby. The staff was nice and very helpful. Although we didn't travel with children, this is an idea place for families. The full hot breakfast and snacks in the afternoon were a hit! We would definitely come and stay again, no doubt about it!

Shopping was conveniently located on International Dr if you didn't want to travel to far from the hotel. However, there are a host of shopping centers all along Sand Lake Rd, Florida Mall, etc. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.
