Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Orlando near Universal Orlando Studios

We found our room to be nice and clean. The breakfast room food was plentiful but room was crowded so we ate out by the pool. Location was close to our Disney destinations and there were lots of restaurants nearby for dinner. CSI and BodyWorks were right next door to hotel. Overall I would say a good value and we would stay there again.

We enjoyed the spacious suite at Hawthorn. We found the hotel to be very quiet, even though it seemed to be filled with families and lots of children. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety and the afternoon drink/snack was a nice bonus. The only issue we had (and it is nothing that the hotel did or could correct) was trying to get out of Canada Dr. onto Sand Lake Rd. We found the Orlando drivers to be rude and most always blocked the street making it impossible to turn out of Canada Dr. We ended up leaving the car at the hotel and walking to nearby shops and restaurants. However, we would most definitely stay here again.

Good location right at the top of international drive. Rooms could use some updating and the carpets should be replaced through the building. Staff was very nice.

Very good value for the money and fantastic location

Nice place to come back to after a day at universal. The location was excellent. Breakfast was OK but the area was too small for the number of people to be served. Over all, a good experience. We would recommend it to our friends and family.

The location is convenient, the staff superb, and the value has always been great.

Multiple problems starting with a lobby renovation which made the registration a challenge. It would be nice if the elevators went to all of the floors. Happy hour and breakfast left something to be desired. The room itself had comfortable mattresses, but the appearance was terrible. If they are remodling, they should have started with the rooms.

For the price, I sure expected more. The hotel was remodeling so maybe it will get better but they should have started with the rooms. The room was terribly run down with a broken sleeper couch and peeling cabinets. And really, can we get an elevator that actually goes to all of the floors? Taking the stairs was like a funhouse maze without the fun. And if you reserve a room for six people it seems reasonable to expect six towels. It took two calls and two hours to get extras. Next time I'll pony up an extra $10 and hope for better.

Excellent for the money breakfast a plus no complaints enjoy my vacation a lot will use again

Lets start by checking in, I walked up to the front lobby area to check in. The gentlman who checked me in was professional and kind, however when booking I wasn't told there would be a deposit that had to be paid on top of my booked trip/airfare. That wasn't even an issue because I got it back after checking out. I walked up to my room and was shocked to see that the bed was a mess, no pillows, stuff on the floors, bathroom wasn't clean, and towels everywhere on the ground. I went back down to complain about what I had seen and their soultion was getting me a new room. So, I had booked a room with two queen beds and got downgraded to a single bed room because that's what was clean at the time during the night. I went on and the room was clean however, I was put on the third floor of the hotel and it was super quiet and creepy. I didn't feel safe whatsoever staying there by myself to be honest. it seemed there were more people on the other floors and not on the third for some reason. Overall, I probably will never book with this hotel again because I felt like I didn't get my money's worth at all. Staff was nice but the hotel needs to work on making so many improvements being near Disney World and some of the best theme parks in the country...
