good family accomodation for price
Fussy Kiwi Dec 21, 2009
For a last minute booking this was good accomodation at a good price. We had a 3 bed apartment. It was in a quiet location ... but a long way from the main check in where the main pool and gym were located. The living area was a little small but as we were only there for a couple of nights it was fine. Unfortunately the spa bath did not work and the cold water tap fell into the hot water and was difficult to retrieve!! All in all though we were happy with the prive, location and cleanliness of the apartments. We would recommend to others with families.

My Stay
ellen Dec 6, 2009
We arrived and went to check in. After an easy check in we were directed to the WELCOME DESK and the lady that was at the ... desk started to explain an deal where if we attended a short meeting and tour the property then we would receive $100. Once she learned that we were both single mothers we were told we didn't qualify because we weren't married or a couple. That is discrimination. She was to call us to let us know if there was something that she could do for us, we never got a call and she tried to tell us she did and left a message. We never received one. Then the next morning we called the front desk to ask for more creamer for the coffee and we were told that they only give us 1 comp pk and we would have to purchase anything else. Also when we asked for more towels we were told that housekeeping was not in yet. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!!!!

Great place to stay!
Kristi from Louisiana Nov 14, 2009
We stayed at the resort for 5 nights while visiting Disney World. The resort is beautiful, location is great and service was ... wonderful. They offer shuttle service to and from the parks. The only problem is that it is offered 3 times in the am and 3 times late in the evening. No middle times in case you get tired or have a little one! The price was great, but it would have been much easier to stay on the grounds!

Stayed here while attending a convention at Disney World. The location was great, enough out of the way to be quiet and ... restful but close enough to arrive at the meeting in less than 20 minutes. The check in was quick and the staff very attentive. A gentleman escorted us to our building and assisted with the luggage. We stayed in one of the back building overlooking the lake. It was a lovely spot to see while sitting on the balcony at night and very peaceful after a day of crowds. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bath whirlpool tub was wonderful. We had to ask for a computer cable to use the dial up but it was supplied quickly and the connection was fast even though we are used to wireless. The king size bed was too soft to our liking, but we have a very firm matress at home. We will definitely stay there again.

We mainly stayed around the pool. Our kids are 3 weeks and 17 months so the theme parks are too much. However, the resort ... would be a great launching point for any of the theme parks. We will book here again and this time get a three bedroom unit with friends. We also brought our dog.

Disney Vaction

We traveled to several Disneyland attractions, Magic Kindom, MGM studios, SeaWorld and Universal studios. This was a family ... vacation with my 2 daughters ages 13 and 16 years old. We enjoyed the location of our hotel in relation to the attractions listed above. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating to our needs. I stayed on the 5th floor out of 6, the only complaint I have was the noise from the 6th floor neighbor. It as distracting and irritating. I called the front desk to report it, but it continued until we eventually checked out. I normally stay on the top floor to avoid most of these type of distractions.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and spent one day at Disney. It was very close to Disney and the hotel offers a free ... shuttle. It was perfect for our vacation. The pool was like a mini waterpark with beach sand, my kids were thrilled. Checking in and checking out were swift and easy. Lots of towels in the room and toiletry supplies.

Very Awesome place to Stay!
Roz Jul 9, 2009
We met some friends in Orlando; they stayed the night with us. We used the cab service at the hotel to go to Downtown Disney ... and had an excellent time, since we did not have to drive. Actually liked the hotel better than the timeshare we stayed at later on in the week -- The Westgate Palace -- I will not stay there again -- it was too large and not enough activities.

Downtown Disney had plenty of places to eat. A little bit pricey, but we were there for the fun and excitement of it all.

Super Resort In Orlando
PorscheBoy Jun 18, 2009
I was simply amazed by this wonderful resort in a fantastic location on International DR. in Orlando, FL. My first stay was ... only for one night, but I had to return my last night also because it was the best hotel in the area. The great family appeal was refreshing. The rooms, lobby, common areas, pools, and parking lots are extremely clean. The service was always extremely pleasant and always with a smile. I couldn't think of one thing this resort needs. I am currently looking to purchase one of these condos I was so impressed! I've never felt more at home on vacation... Do yourself a favor and give FLORIDAYS a chance, you'll be so spoiled that everywhere else, JUST DOES NOT COMPARE!

Last minute weekend getaway
Always traveling Jun 3, 2009
While my boyfriend and I were visiting for a short 3-day weekend, we wanted to do as much in Orlando as possible. However, ... those at the attractions desk did not provide us with any useful information, were not clear on how shuttle bus worked, and did not suggest anything useful. We had to discover sites & attractions through word of mouth from other tourists. In addition, room service would not accommodate unless $25 or more was ordered, although my boyfriend and I had gotten ill. The one "restaurant" the hotel had was very expensive and very limited to items. You needed to take a bus in order to go to the "local" store or deli.

Weekend getaway for my daughter turning 16. The location was great for shopping and entertainment. It was our first time ... staying in a resort and if the price is right, we will stay in a resort in the future. The price was excellent for what we got. We went to the Capone Dinner show. It was ok. We would have probably enjoyed it more if we didn't get up at 5 that morning and if we didn't have to get up at 5 the following morning to catch our flight. The food (buffet style) was actually pretty good, and the show lasted until about 10:15pm. I recommend that you make reservations and get there early. If you get there by 6:30, you can go sit in the saloon (as long as you purchase one drink per person) this will allow you to be seated and start eating before the general public gets seated at 7:30. This does not mean that you will get a better seat, however there did not seem to be a bad seat in the house.
