Nice, new and great location
This hotel was perfect for our trip. They were right next door to the Seaworld themeparks and had a bus that would take you there and pick you up, saving you a fortune on parking. The rooms were a bit small. We had to upgrade to a suite, which was still tiny compared to other rooms that I have stayed in in the past. The pool was also a bit crowded with kids. Springhill and Fairfield share the same pool and it was a bit small...with lots of noisy kids. We were away at parks for our stay so it wasn't a big issue though. Otherwise, this hotel was great especially considering the location and its unbeatable price.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
There was a TGI Fridays right in front of the hotel which was great. If you plan on eating further down on International Dr. I suggest you leave the hotel early especially if it is the weekend. It literally took us like 30 minutes to drive 4 miles. The traffic was ridiculous.

sometimes you don't get what you expect
Tried to check in after making sure after three seperate conversations to find out they did not have the room available. They then set us to their sister hotel Springhill Suites where they didn't have the room we requested either. It cost more money to stay at a hotel I choose not to stay in because it was after midnight. The hotel also advertised "walking distance to Sea World" watch was a 10-15 minute walk. We elected to take their shuttle which returned 1-1/2 hours before the park closed. We took a cab at our own expense. The hotels are both only open 2 months and are clean and new. The staff was very friendly but were unable to help us to our satisfaction. To say we were very disappointed is an understatement. I was even told the pictures on line were not the way the rooms looked at the time of booking because they were to new a hotel. I even called the Faifield and talked to someone to make sure it was the room we needed. Parting advice, if you do not care if the room you book meets any particular needs, you might like the Marroitts Fairfield or Springhill hotels at Sea World Orlando.

No complaints
We were traveling to SeaWorld and the location was great. We were directly across the street and were able to get to SeaWorld in only a few minutes the next morning. The front staff was very friendly upon arrival. The kids swam in the pool which they loved. The only thing I questioned was how well the room was cleaned. There was a pez dispenser on the floor in the corner of the room that did not belong to us. There was also pink cleaner in the bathtub and it had been spilled on the bathmat. I think it may have just been a quick cleaning job. The breakfast buffet was a typical continental breakfast.

Nice Hotel
Pleasant and clean hotel. Not as close to Sea World as expected; it was NOT within walking distance. The shuttle to Sea World only goes in the early AM and late PM so we ended up driving and paying for parking there instead. No fee for parking at the hotel and complimentary continental breakfast were a bonus. Nice enough room, even if it was decorated in lime green and orange. Nearby hospital meant hearing sirens often.

Nice for the price
Close to Sea World, which is where we had tix. The hotel needed a full drape to cover the window!!!!! It was too bright in the morning because only a sheer covered the window. Also the A/C was either hot or cold - you couldn't get the temp in between - really a strange system - the wall unit controlled a window unit!!! Otherwise clean and neat.

What is that smell??
The hotel has pretty much most of the amenities Orlando Hotels do. Since we just spend the nights there we didn't use any of those amenities. We noticed a very particular (and strong) smell of the room when we walked in. It seems that their cleaning crew use some sort military grade cleaning agent that leaves a very strong smell. We had to open the windows and turn on the A/C at full speed to dissipate the smell. Fortunately, we didn't turn into lab specimens due to the smell. If you are allergic to chemicals, beware...

This Hotel is VERY close to Sea World. You can see the Roller Coasters right from the window. Get a high floor.

End of our cruise
Hotel was decorated nicely and offered a decent complimentary breakfast. Rooms were good, although we noticed a moldy smell as soon as we entered the room. We figured it was because if the air conditioning. Figured out that it was actually the water in the bathroom that has the smell of mold....kind of gross!! Overall experience there...no complaints, althought I wouldn't pay that price for a hotel again. Had a nicer hotel in another area for a lot less the day before the cruise.

Avarage place to stay
While the location worked for us the one down side was the smell of the room. The hotel was booked so we could not move, but I never want to be told by staff they do NOT smell anything while the three people staying there did. The pool area is fun!
