Days Inn Orlando Universal Studios North

I read all the reviews before booking, and was hoping to not be disappointed, and I was pleased. My fiancée and i were in town for the weekend only, and weren't planning on spending too much time in our room. We had to switch rooms because our ac didn't work properly, but Miriam at the front desk was great, she sent someone immediately with keys to our new room and it was right next door to our current room. The room was basic,but so were our needs. The staff was wonderful, and the I hop downstairs was very convenient. The pool was accessible 24 hours which was an added plus. If you're looking for high class this isn't it, but very affordable, and I deal for a few nights while hitting the town

The hotel was right next to orange county correctional facility.

I booked this for a bit extra since I assumed it would be a little better than the other one-star locations that were listed, however, literally, the moment we stepped foot out of the car, it smelled like someone had peed just outside of the elevator. There were stains everywhere, the toilet ran almost incessantly, and, the smell of wet cigarettes lingered even though we'd asked for a non-smoking room. In the morning, even though there was a DO NOT DISTURB sign posted on the door, the maid knocked and insisted we open the door to speak to her, even we'd loudly said NO THANKS and I'm SURE she heard us, given that we heard EVERY other guest, including at least two barking dogs at 7am. To top it off, she was standing there smoking a cigarette while she worked. Down the hall there were four other maids, all standing around smoking as well. Guess that explains the smell. The only positive thing is that the bed was quite comfortable. Overall, I'd say if you want a nice hotel, look elsewhere and save the money. I sure wish I had.

The hotel was ok, but for the price just to sleep and get freshen up is ok! The only goo thing is that its a walking distance from your doorstep the IHOP, 24/7 open so easy dont even have to get out to look for a restaurant!

We have stayed in this hotel before on previous trips. The hotel is average but in a good spot to get where you need to go. The cleanliness was good. But the beds were not the best to sleep in because of the sheets that they use. They come apart quickly while sleeping... But would stay here again...

THE HOTEL SURROUNDING ARE DIRTY. FOR A NIGHT OR TWO IS JUST OK

This hot was horrible. I spend an average of 15-20+ nights a month on the road and in hotels. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The first room had hair all over and in one of the beds not to mention what looked like blood stains on the floor. The next room had hair all over the floors, piles behind the bathroom door, in the tub and on 2 pillows. The pillows weren't an issue since the covers were stained and the pillows lumpy so neither of us dared use the pillows. The AC unit basically fell apart when we tried turning it on so we had to put it back together and monkey with it to get it to work. Not fun. I felt dirty and gross after my stay here and truly couldn't get out fast enough. The best part of the stay was the customer service. The employees were all helpful and nice. If it were just cleaner it would be a great place because theyve got the customer service.

I enjoyed the location it was located next to all the attractions. I liked the shopping centers. My hotel stay was ordinary, some staff was friendly and some were nasty. The room was alright but the air condition could have been better and the television was a little messy and there was no remote when I first arrived. It was fun in Orlando.

The hotel itself was a good value for the money, but the view was a little freaky for my family. Its located next to the prison.
