Days Inn Orlando Midtown

The room smelled moldy. It was clean, but old-fashioned appliances, and the terrible smell, made it an unpleasant experience. The Continental breakfast is average at best. This is really a place to go if you have zero extra funds--I saw many other motels and inns nearby that were more presentable, seemed much more amenable to a stay. Even for one night, I wouldn't do it again--I'd rather pay an extra $20-$30 to have a room that smells nice, and a less depressing vibe. There was a faint odor of urine around the property--probably from feral cats?--but that meant a really unpleasant experience all-around. The Staff were nice, courteous, and above-average, but there is little they can do about the amenities. Also, they charge $2 "service charge" for free parking and ice, which is nickle-and-diming at its worst. Avoid if you can!

It took three attempts to just get checked in! First stop, power was out and a room couldn't be assigned. Second attempt, waited 30-45 minutes and was mostly ignored - left without checking in. Third attempt, different desk clerk (manager again ignored us) had us checked in after about 30 minutes. Toilet in room would not flush, fixed it ourselves rather than again go through a long delay.

This place was horrific. When we first checked-in, they gave us a room that was literally torn apart; one of the beds no longer resembled a bed, the headboard was ripped from the wall, and it smell awful. The guy at the front desk, Alex, was nice enough, and got us another room promptly. Well, this one wasn't much better. The tile was dirty in the bathroom area, as if it hadn't been swept or mopped from the last tenant's stay. There were dead roaches on the bathroom floor, and the towels also appeared to be unwashed. When I went to take a shower, the water was lukewarm at best, and that was with the faucet pushed all the way over to hot. Needless to say, we left that night and drove home. Thankfully, we received a full refund.

nothing in the room worked..... bathroom light, mini fridge, hair dryer and two other lights were either broken or out. The location is a little intimidating but ok for the value. Breakfast was less than par. Go to McDonalds down the street.

Like being at home. Yow want for nothing and have a great breakfast before you leave.

The word consistancy takes care of itself. We do visit this hotel on a consistant basic, mainly because of the staff. The people really welcome you to their hotel. My wife and I feel like it's home away from home. If you'll review your records you will see how often we do visit. Thanks for the offer to give you feedback.

The staff was nice. The location was not all good, but it is closed to the highway. The room clean. For the price, we cant complaint. I will definitely recommend it to someone.

We used this Hotel to go to the Earthday Birthday concert so we really didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it was good. Breakfast was nice.

I was very pleased with my accommodations. The continental breakfast was really good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I will return for certain.
