Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Orlando Universal, Florida

The hotel was fine and met my expectations. I was there for a two day business trip and the hotel was perfect for what I needed...nothing spectacular but nothing disappointing.

The breakfast was very good. Wifi speed was really amazing. They provided shuttle service to Universal. It's worth the money. I didn't like the bathroom much. Other than that the stay was really wonderful.

The free Internet and breakfast made this an easier stay. The distance however to main street (International Drive) and Universal park was a let down. Although a shuttle was available to some parks the schedule was not very accommodating.

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Our suite was very comfortable, brand products in the bathroom were very good, and the breakfast was delicious.

rooms were clean beds were hard though pool was small, thought it would be bigger, but it was clean kids loved looking for the little lizzard things running around. husband was sad he didn't see any gators first trip to florida, universal was great. will come back again

My fiance and I were dead tired when we got there. the gentleman at the the desk was very nice and we got in right away. The room was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. They had goose down pillows but my fiance is actually allergic to them, so i called down to the front desk @ 2:30am and the gentleman brought normal pillows right up and they were just as soft. Great place to stay and right near the attractions.

The hotel is about 1 mile from I-4 and 2.7 miles from Universal Studios (a straight shot from the hotel to the park's parking lot). Wet and Wild water park is about .5 miles. There are several eating establishments within walking distance or a short drive. The room was nice, nothing special. Had two double beds, TV, and bathroom. All I needed since I was at the parks all day. They had a nice breakfast each morning. Although listed as continental, there were a few hot items (eggs and sausage one day and french toast the next). The hotel had a pool and small exercise room, but I did not take advantage of either. My only minor complaint was the lack of a fridge in the room. For the price and location I would stay at this hotel again.

Went to a different theme park every day we were there- very close to Universal Studios (big PLUS) The other parks (Disney, Sea World, etc) not very far away either. This was the best vacation yet, the hotel staff very friendly ! The room service staff especially catered to our needs since I forgot shampoo and the like. The sound-proofing of the rooms was very nice, we got very restful sleep while there ! and didn't have to be woken up by other guests coming and going.

Not the newest hotel, but comfortable & clean. Continental breakfast was adequate, though over-crowded and many of the other guests were very loud. We went out for breakfast after the first morning. We expected to take the free transport to Universal, but learned too late that it doesn't run after 9:00AM. We were also told by a couple later in the day that the shuttle did not show up to bring them back and they had to take a taxi. We drove our rental car & paid the $15 parking fee so that we could come & go as we wanted. We enjoyed Harry Potter and the hotel was close to many good places to eat.
