Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida is located minutes from Walt Disney World, EPCOT, Sea World and Universal Orlando. On April 28, 2009 the $25 million dollar renovation of 1,218 suites was completed at Caribe Royale. The renovations included new furniture, carpet and draperies, new tile and granite countertops, new bedding, new work desks, new closets and electronic safes. We really enjoyed our stay. Our daughter took over the room with the pullout bed and enjoyed having her own space and TV. ... My wife and I loved the 2 queen beds - never had a better night's sleep in a hotel. The only glitch we had was trying to order room service one night - problem with the phone I guess. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thinking that I had booked a $200/nite suite, I was hoping for a faily big space to sleep. But I was disappointed with the ... small size of room and bathroom. Bathroom in particular was insanely small. Other than that hotel was decent. Bar was not that bad. Buffet breakfast has limited options. But food price was very cheap and quality was good too. All in all a very decent experience.

We enjoyed this hotel most because of it's convenient location to everywhere.Not far from theme parks or International Drive ... -- even has a couple of restaurants and a CVS store where you can walk to. The rooms were great --flat screen TVs--but maybe a little small--and that's being very "picky"

Pulling up to the hotel i wasn't really impressed with the way it looked in the front, but once you walk inside it's a whole ... different story. PROS: The lobby was huge! The pool was great (it had a cascading waterfall), they have in room massages available to you, house keeping came by every morning tidy up the rooms, and the location was near everything. Ten minutes away was international drive, fifteen minutes away was disney world, prime/premium outlets, universal studios, and seaworld. They provide shuttles to and from disney world. There's also a HERTZ rental place inside the lobby...RENT A CAR cause taxi fares are ridiculously expensive!! They have four restaurants located inside the hotel lobby so you dont have to go far to eat. CONS: I got a one bedroom suite that included two queen beds and a living area, but the living area nor the bedrooms were as roomy as i thought it would be. The latest the restaurants in the hotel open until is 11 pm (would be better if they opened till 2 am). Sometimes the people at the front desk seem unwilling to help (in person and on the phone). Although they say they have 24 hour room service their meun is very limited, they have menus for breakfast (that end at 11), lunch (11am-10pm), all day dining (11am-12am), then a late night dining (12am-6am)...thus not very much to choose from after midnight.

unless you're only planning to go Disney World, RENT A CAR! Taxi from the airport to the hotel was $55...for that price you could rent a car for a whole day and drive where ever you wanted! This hotel is pretty much in the middle of everything so rent a car (ask for one with a navigation unless your phone has it), you will regret it if you dont!

we stayed 1 night at the Nickelodeon - OMG - we got out of there as fast as we could - went online to Orbitz and found the ... Caribe Royale - saved our vacation from certain disaster had we stayed at the Nick - beautiful hotel - very nice pool - very nice rooms - awful food - yes i would come back - but I didn't rent a car for the few days we were here so I had to eat at the hotel - not my idea of dining - but hey we made it work - yes I would recommend this hotel

We just went for a weekend stay. The pool is why we went..The rooms are nice but strong paint odor.. Had to switch rooms 2 ... different times. Adv the front desk of the smell and put me in another one just as bad.. Had to speak to a manager to get another room. That was the only downside. They did extend our check out till 3.00 pm instead of 11.00 am based on the inconvience..That I apprectiated..

This was our first trip to Orlando, and I was completely satisfied. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The ... staff was friendly & helpful always. We were gonna go to Typhoon Lagoon but the children wouldn't get out of the pool, they loved the slide. I would definitely stay here again when we return.

Very Nice, excellent location to Disney (just a 2 minute drive straight down the main road)and other points of interest in ... the Orlando area. Very convenient shuttle service to all Disney Parks. The pool was magnificent. We traveled on business and extended our stay for a mini vacation. The beds were so comfortable, I wish I had one at home. I slept so well. I would recommend this hotel. I plan to stay here again.

Went as last minute getaway with family for Disney. Had always stayed at Disney Resorts in past. Picked due to traveler's ... reviews and found they were spot on. Very happy with location, service, rooms were set up very well for a family stay (suite-style) and are very well designed and decorated. Pool was a bit crowded on the holiday weekend, but still could find enough chaise lounges and it did calm down quite a bit the next day. Hot tub was either boiling hot or at best tepid. Concrete around pool needs power washing. Overall was very happy with the balance of easy going nature/environment for the kids (nice baby pool, too) and classy ambience for adults. Is equi-distant from Disney and Universal, so nice balance for those who wish to be at both during their stay. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, rooms were clean but the halls/stairs needed a bit more attention. Great AC, very quiet. Grounds well ... maintained and clean, free parking a definite plus. Staff was very helpful and price of goods/services was reasonable. Great location for Disney, Universal was a 10 minute drive so it was also convenient for those parks.

We brought our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren (ages 8 & 10) to Orlando for the 1st time. Our 2-bedroom villa was ... perfect: plenty of space to hang out, beautiful pools, very clean and well maintained facilities. We stayed for 5 nights and visited 4 Disney parks. The complimentary shuttle to WDW was one of the reasons I booked Caribe, but it took an hour for each trip; an eternity when on the bus with a bunch of really tired kids.

The CVS located right across the street from hotel is well stocked for supplying your basic needs for breakfast, snacks, and beer. But take your backpack and tote bags because the trip back with heavy grocery sacks is painful.

Perfect getaway for all

We had a great time for the Memorial weekend. Our plans were Seaworld and a water park. My 8 year old daughter just loved ... being in the hotel and enjoyed the pool and the pool slide. Me and my wife enjoyed a great two level gym. Rooms were clean with new decor(nicely done in great taste). We can't wait to plan our next visit there.

This was a last minute getaway and Orbitz's price was great. The location, room and the room view were perfect for our ... little family getaway. The food was good but the room floor did not look like it was vacummed. The refrigerator and microwave made it a little easier. The kid pool and main pool were a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Landry's Seafood was a short five minute cab ride and we throughly enjoyed the food there. Check with the conceriere for coupons. I recommend you set the price of your cab ride before you go because Orlando fees vary more than any other city I travel to.
