The room was very nice but the staff seemed overwhelmed. Stayed here with a large group and the staff seemed surprised that everyone wanted breakfast. One harried attendant did her very best but could not keep up - had to wait for plates, bowls,
cups - even coffee!! I was willing to make allowances for the first day but imagine my surprise when the same thing happened the next morning. Instead of calling in reinforcements to accomodate the group, the same poor attendant was alone, trying to keep up with a capacity crowd.
I am a business traveler and imagine my surprise when the person checking me out seemed put out when I asked for a receipt, and spoke to me as if I were a simple minded idiot when I questioned a charge on it. Does she not realize that records have to be presented to the business traveler's company?
Although the location and facilities were very nice, I will be reluctant to stay here again with a large group. We will be looking for a hotel that is friendlier to conferences.
