Inexpensive, but really decent
I believe that this hotel is about half-way through a renovation. The first section is more "hotel" style, where you enter your room from a hallway. The second section (the cheap rooms) were "motel" style, entering the room from outside. The room was fine, nothing fancy. The bathrooms were pretty outdated, with funky bathtub faucets that did not turn the right way. Some rooms face an inlet, with boats moored along it. The pool was nice, and was located next to the inlet. The low price combined with a decent view on the water side was (to me) a great value. This place was priced far less than comparable hotels in the Tampa area, and was only about 20 - 30 minutes north of there. It's located on a busy commercial highway, lined with stores and places to eat. There is a restaurant on site (Thai food) that I did not get a chance to try. The breakfast buffet is a little on the bleak side, but I'd go back again, no problem! It was just a good deal!

All along highway 19, where the hotel is located, there are TONS of pawn shops. My party were all going to make a day of visiting them, looking for treasure. If you're into that sort of thing, you could have a pretty good time!

Ask for that updated room.
When I chacked in I found out that the Hotel/Motel had two parts. A new part and an old part. My reservations were for the opld part but they upgraded to the new part for $10.00 per day. As far as I am concerned it was well worth it, the old rooms did not look good at all. I few othe rnotes. No counter space in the Bathroom. If you have a DNT sign on the door and you leave after 10AM, check in with the maid to make sure they get to your room before you leave. The sheets sucked, been washed on to many times and had a few lint balls. Over all it was what you would expect for the cost.

Waterfront on one side.
I came to see friends. Spent time in the pool. The Thai restaurant was good. The pool was nice. The room was seedy for the most part. Bathroom okay but small but it was clean. The carpet in the room was stained. Room too small for two beds. Noisy A.C. Did not like window straight on to parking lot. Seemed to have no communal doors that required a key to enter so anyone from the street could get into building. Not a nice thought considering the area is not that wonderful. Breakfast mediocre. However, hotel was inexpensive. I would rather pay a little more and have increased security and improved breakfast.

A nice place to stay - great location.
Visited elderly parents. Just needed a place to sleep - nothing fancy.

ok you get what you paid for the shower head was a little low and the drain was slow draining
