Our third visit

Our first trip to Florida was pretty much a disaster until we arrived at the Trianon Hotel in Naples. We used the Trianon on our second trip as a base for home shopping. Now that we have moved away, the one benefit is the opportunity to stay at the Trianon again and again and again. Truly one of my favorite hotels in the whole world.

Great location, helpful staff

The staff were helpful. The pool was lovely but the lack of fitness facilities on site is a drawback. The setting is beautiful and although you are next to all the Old Town activity it is relaxed. The location makes getting in and out of relatively congested area easy.

Great getaway

I enjoyed it and loved the location. Walk to shops, restaurant and beach. Room was somewhat stuffy on arrival but opening up the balcony doors helped.

Walk instead of drive to 5th street. This way you can walk along 5th street, stop and take a look at the menus of the numerous restaurants.

Wonderful anniversary weekend

This was a wonderful, quiet weekend getaway for my wife and I. The hotel rooms were spacious (although we missed out on a balcony because we reserved late). The pool was located in a nice quiet patio area surrounded by trees and hedges. The location was amazing - a minute walk to the bustling, cute downtown street w delicious restaurants and fun shops. You could walk to beach, but on recommendation of the terrific hotel staff, we drove a few minutes to a less crowded area and had a tremendous, relaxing afternoon on the beach. Continental breakfast was adequate. We would stay there again in a heartbeat - perfect if you want smaller, quiet atmosphere!

We ate dinner at the Bistro 821 - excellent salmon. The best meal of the weekend however was at the Jolly Cricket - a tropical salad w/ grilled chicken on top for lunch - delicious!! Had some amazing coconut ice cream at Kilwins to finish of the afternoon. Very fun!!

Great local hotel

We came to Naples to relax and enjoy the beach, as well as to head into the Everglades. Trianon had a great location on a quiet street in a neighborhood. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach, and was very close to the shopping and restaurants of Fifth Avenue. All in all, this was a great place to stay!

Great location!

We loved the feel of the old Florida elegance and could not have asked for a more central location to everything we wanted to do. Restaurants, shopping and nightlife were within easy walking distance, but far enough from the buzz to be quiet. Beaches and golf are very close and waterfront dining is minutes away. The hotel is older, but very comfortable and each room had a step out balcony. The continental breakfast was a little sparse with only your choice of carbs, but nicely laid out. Complimentary newspapers in abundance and a very friendly staff.
