Good for something a bit different.
We were looking for something other than "typical" and think this definitely qualified. The room was small but clean and the grounds are very pretty. Definitely a high rank for charm and romantic atmosphere. It is quite a ways (15-20 min) from Naples activity so if you want a "downtown" location this would not particularly qualify. We were worried about the lack of soundproofing when we checked in, but the neighborhood location made the night pleasantly quiet. Different neighboring guests might have changed that, however. The only major complaint we had was the breakfast. We were able to sleep in and went to eat about an hour before the posted end of the serving time. There was hardly any food left and NO coffee. There was also no coffee in the office so we had to make do with the small pot in the room and the typical packet of weak coffee grounds which I had to hunt up from the cleaning staff. Because we were there for only one night, we did not have a chance to enjoy the outdoor amenities but sure wish we could have. That was very attractive.

Girls weekend in Naples
We stayed at the Fairway Resort. We had a kitchenette with plenty of room, slept 6 people was perfect! (we could have used another bathroom but not complaining). The place was clean, with a pool and close to malls, beach, dinner and downtown.

Seasoned travelers
A pleasant old time hotel stay
My wife and I had a very pleasant stay here. Nothing fancy, but the service was first rate. We took advantage of the continental breakfast almost everyday while we were there because it offered everything. Beaches were in close proximity, the closest only a mile away but the pool here offered an immediate alternative. Our room was clean and maid service was provided daily. I would definitely recommend the Fairways Resort to those looking for a more homey stay. We'll be coming back!

Decent place to stay.
Fairway Resort is a decent hotel. We were supposed to have a king sized bed but when we were checking in the clerk told us that there weren't any available. We had to settle for a queen sized bed. The room was clean and the employees were very accomodating. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was out of order and the room air conditioner was very noisy but overall, our stay was satisfactory.

Had A Wonderful Stay
Had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly; they even helped us with our apartment search as we were moving to the area. The hotel is older but SUPER clean. We had a marvelous time!

This is our second visit to Fairways
This is our second visit to Fairways and again we enjoyed the pool area, the garden, the gazebo, the breakfast ( but please have waffles instead of biscuits and gravy!), and the proximity to the supermarket for BBQ supplies. We'll be back!

Overpriced
The building is typical old motel type. Never renovated. Every fixture in the bathroom is old and outmoded. Furniture is average. Breakfast is continental and with limited and basic items. Tropical garden is nice. Pool is ok. Rooms facing street is not that desirable. It just has this old motel look from fifties. I think the plce is overpriced. I did not like the requirement to show driver's licence or photo id of each person. they made a copy of each person's ID card staying in the motel in spite of my objection.
