Tricked!

This hotel was nothing like the pictures you have online and now I know why. This Hotel was old and smelly. The website is very misleading. They lead to believe that its a luxuroius hotel with Marina. That the hotel is full of ammenities. Well apparently there is a hotel right across the street(the nice one with all the ammenities)with the same name! To which they informed us that our room was across the street at the OTHER Port of the Islands Hotel! So we go across the street to a hotel that looks and smells like something out of a horror flick! Against our good judgement we went ahead and checked in since it was the only hotel in the whole town with vacancies. I didnt bring a blowdryer or shamppo since the hotel site said the room had all the ammenities including fridge, microwave, etc. I go to the front desk to ask for a blowdryer or if there was a vending machine for shampoo to which he informed that he would rip one off the wall in another room(Dont mind the screws sticking out the back)and he would let me borrow some of his personal shampoo because he says that the owner is too cheap to buy any. In the morning I went downstairs to get a bottled water out of the soda machine but much to my suprise it didnt work, it was unplugged. We were told we could go across the street and get food from the buffet for $4.95 a person! This was the worse experience that I have ever had in a hotel.

Dirtiest, most run down hotel ever

This truly was the worst hotel experience ever for me. Incompetent staff that did not want to honor reservation, dirtiest room complete with rat droppings, no trash can, no hangers, no cold water in sink, unvacumed floor. Many other guests who were exiting felt same as us (we had two rooms, both equally bad). [...]

Slummin

The place needs to be either renovated or tore down. A once beautiful hotel is nothing but a slum run down building of what once was.... Totally disgusted with the Hotel... Sad too because it has so much potential...
