Beautiful luxury resort
The hotel, amenities, service, staff, restaurants were all excellent. The resort is in a very convenient and beautiful location. The grounds are lovely. One thing to consider is that it is spread out over a few buildings. Free shuttles take you back and forth. The only complaint I had is that the sinks are high in the bathrooms in the suite I stayed in. My companion is just under 5' tall and needed a step stool to reach the sink comfortably. Don't know if this is true throughout or just our suite. This is a great place for families as they have several pools, including a lazy river. And for those that prefer no splashing, there is a pool for adults only.

Wonderful resort
We had a great 4 day break at this beautiful resort. Our 1 BR suite was very large and comfortable with a full kitchen, dining / living room, screened porch, BR, and the largest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. The grounds are immaculate with a large marina that is bordered by the hotel on 3 sides. There are shops and restaurants along the first floor creating a real village ambiance. A large condo complex is part of the resort and is located about 2 blocks away. You can take a shuttle or drive over yourself to sample the 3 pools and lazy river that are set amidst exceptional landscaping and waterfall features. The only minor complaints I can think of were the cranky TV and internet reception but these were minor inconveniences.

Parking can be a challenge on 5th Avenue in Naples but in evenings, the parking lots behind the many office buildings are open and seem to be routinely used by everyone.

Nice stay at Naples Bay
Very nice hotel. Room was clean, service was good, large and spacious, spa-like bathroom. My only complaint is that they charge a $20/day amenity fee on top of their nightly rate - which seems exorbitant, especially if you did not use any of the amenities...

Good Stuff
The staff was great and friendly, right down to the cleaning people. The room was nice, but the pillows on the bed were not very comfortable. It's a little weird that the fitness area and pool were in completely different building down the street, but it wasn't really that inconveinant because there is a very nice locker room in the building where you could keep your things. I love it because it is located so close to downtown 5th avenue which is my favorite area of Naples. Also, there was a conveinant water shuttle if you wanted to go to different bars or restaurants in the surrounding bay. I have stayed in a few places around Naples, and overall NBR was the most conveinant for the best price.

Awesome stay!
Pros: Location is great for not being on the beach. It is withing walking distance to Tin City. It is close enough to the beaches, shopping, and dinning areas around 5th Avenue. The room was absolutely perfect. King Bed, Full kitchen w/dishwasher, two toilets, washer and dryer in unit, stand up shower, jaquzzi tub, two flat screen TV's, and a Bose sound system. Cons: Additional $22 hotel/resort fee per night kind of ridiculous, music from shops downstairs made it somewhat annoying to enjoy the balcony. Pool area is literally about a 3-5 minute walk from the rooms.

Food was a bit expensive. Tin City has 2 relatively cheap spots. Pinchers Crab Shack was my favorite. If your looking to spend some coin and enjoy a great steak, Chops on 5th Ave was excellent. If you don't want to drive Bonefish Grill is on the premises.

nice Girl's getaway
Was very nice. Pool area was quite beautiful by the Lazy River, very disappointed in the fact that young teenage boys rough housing and throwing footballs around, TOO rough to enjoy. Thought you needed more staff for serving around the pools, those guys worked so hard, Michael and the other fella, they need a raise ! You need something to get people down there, it is a shame that even at off season that this place is so dead ! I really loved the location, but there was so much lacking in entertaining us around the resort. Please try something , I want to come back with more friends but for more than the 5% or even 20% off, times are rough but something is better than you have there now, it is SO empty, offer something better, economy is bad, help the people that need a break, cause you can't be losing money if more come to stay. offer an excellent incentive to come back!

Not what we expected
The hotel was extremely quiet and yet the service was extremely poor In particular the receptionist who answered calls mid conversation with us and demonstrated a complete lack of interest in us as guests. Rooms were really nice and cotemporary beware of the fridge and air con during the evening it sounds like a jumbo jet landin in your room

Overall great stay, just a few mishaps
We had 2 suites at the Naples Bay Resort. The rooms and suites were HUGE, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, measuring cups, wine glasses and silver wear. The bathrooms were not totally spotless. We found that the shower stall and floors could have used a major scrubbing. There were also handprints and a mysterious stain on the bathroom door. It wasn't unhygienic, but for a 4-Diamond AAA luxury resort, that was unacceptable. The location is excellent, food at the pool bar was perfect after a long day out in the sun. Watch for the included gratuity though! On one rainy day, I stayed in and missed housekeeping services. When I finally did leave the room, I called down to the front desk where I felt slightly interrogated. They kept asking me if I had hung the sign on the door and maybe that is why they didn't clean my room, I had to explain that I specifically told the nice cleaning lady to come back later. It was just a little awkward feeling like I had done something wrong! Lastly, I had called to confirm my reservation prior to my arrival twice to request that my 2 rooms be close to eachother or adjoining-- atleast on the same floor! When I checked in, this was news to the front desk staff and my 2 rooms were ultimately not near each other, but just a quick walk down an outdoor corridor. Not a huge deal, but I felt that attention to detail was not met and it was such a minor thing to request. I'd give them another chance, as I did fall in love with the Naples area. Beautiful beaches, friendly people, safe.

Naples Bay Resort
We were going there for our son's wedding and a vacation. The staff were courteous and helpful. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are manicured. The restaurants and shops were interesting. Our one issue were the bed pillows. 4 cushion-type pillows instead of regular sized ones. Hard to get comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious and freshened with new linens daily. Would love to come back another time!
