I actually liked the hotel being that I have stayed in many hotels more expensive that were not as nice. It was very clean, the staff were awesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families. Had a great stay.
We were visiting this hotel for a weekend soccer tournament. The hotel was beautiful and very well maintained. The customer service was something to be desired. We arrived Friday and the lady who checked us in told us that the pool was open
until 9:30 or 10:00 if we were quiet. It was too late to swim that night. However, after a long day of soccer Saturday the kids wanted to swim. They got down to the pool and were swimming and at about 7:00, 2 employees came out and told us that we needed to vacate the pool. We advised her what was said the night before and she said the pool closed at dusk. So everyone went into the hotel lobby per their idea and then all they preceeded to do from about 8:00 on - is tell everyone to be quiet and mainly our group - even though there were 3 to 4 groups in the room. We went up to our room about 9:15 and called down to ask for towels and the lady told us if we wanted them we had to come and get them. I was kind of confused - I thought I was paying a decent price a night for more of a full service hotel. I asked her if I called in the morning what time could I get the towels and she told me after 9:00am (we are up and ready to go by then). This hotel was full - what kind of hotel puts only one person on staff when you have over 100 rooms filled to capacity. The gal in the morning also said that [...]was new. So not only do you put one person to staff the hotel - she is new!!! Not very good management - just trying to make more money. What would another person on staff have cost them 1 rooms night? It will cost them a lot more in the future!!
