All the employees were very polite. location was amazing! room very clean and scent was fresh.

Of course South Beach is expensive, so the price of the stay here on Ocean Drive costs as much as you'd expect. The rooms are small, but the bathroom is very nice (tile and glass), and the staff is very courteous and helpful. Try the free coffee. It's actually pretty good.

Rooms were very very small... I would NOT recommend for families.

Overall, we had a great stay; however, there were a few things missing that were advertised on orbtiz: beach chairs (apparently, the provision of beach chairs has been discarded) and the ocean view - we opted for the view premium, but there really wasn't anything to be seen but the building next door. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the stay was nice.

This was my first time to south beach and the hotel location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here every time I go to south beach, Miami. I really enjoyed my stay.

everything was perfect. Only thing missing was no ice nor drink machine on the floor. We spent two days stuck inside by storm isaac, but that's nature. Only beach amenity was a towel, but nice breakfast was a plus. Would definitely return.

my stay at the winter haven was average renovations were being done on the hotel while i was there. they had no room service no bar nothing on site i had to go outside the hotel to get things that i needed. also there was an ATM machine when i checked in but a couple of days later it was removed i was told by the hotel staff to walk 2 blocks down to go to the nearest ATM. on the website it clearly states that beach chairs and other amenities where available upon checking in to the hotel however when i arrived beach chairs and WiFi we not available it is very disappointing not getting the services the website claims to provide i will not be returning to this hotel the location of the hotel was the only good thing it was across the street from the beach

Good location for my business trip. Close to all things needed during my trip. Food, beach and event location.

The hotel staff was nice and accomodating. We were upgraded for our anniversary to an ocean view room from a partial ocean view. We found the room to be comfortable and very clean. All the art-deco rooms are small in south Beach, so I beleive in comparison this one was a bit larger. There was always a complimentary bowl of apples and free water bottles in the lobby. Valet was accomodating when we forgot a bag in the car after it was parked. We were in comfortable walking distance from Lincoln avenue and did some shopping. Restaurants are just a stroll away from the main enterance of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay!

knowing what to expect from reading past reviews, i was prepared. however, i expected beach towels, as it said on the site. luckily we all brought our own. there is no bar, not a big deal. little activity in the hotel. everything looked clean and fairly maintained. unlimited free bottles of water. the hotel room renovations have been completed. there was nearly no noise from workers or other guests. the beds were comfy, bathrooms gutted and modern. overall rooms were gutted, modern, simple and small, if we were four large people it could be uncomfortable. chris at the desk was extraordinary! he made the trip. all of his suggestions were spot on. problem: they charged my card $15.00 on two separate days. this was separate from the $11 charge per night that was paid on the last day. i called, was told to call the manager, i left a msg and heard nothing. called my bank to take care of.
