Venezia Hotel

room was tiny but thats not an issue if you wont be there much. There is no fridge or microwave so that meant I couldnt take food back with me. Not too many taxi drivers or shuttle drivers knew about this place. the staff speaks little to no english. The location is perfect and a few blocks away from some good bars and shops

Most inconvenient thing is no parking. You have to get up before 8 a.m. to pay for street parking. I spent there 4 days and during this time elevator was out of order. I doubt that they will repair it soon. Unexpected charges of $2/day for safe that you can not refuse. There was no lighting at stare case that we had to use to get to 3rd floor. Interior looks poor. Very awful carpet in the room. Louver instead shade. VERY LOW pressure in shower. TV remote control was not suitable for TV set. No wi-fi in rooms. Half of power outlets were not working. No microwave, cooler or coffee pot. Bathroom more or less looks clean and new, but again, very low pressure in shower. Advantages: -Breakfast -One block from beach

This is a dirty dump. Cars were vandalized in the street at night. The lobby was under construction. The door to the room did not close right because it had been broken so many times. We used a chair to keep it shut since there was no lock. The carpet in the room was so dirty that it seemed to move on its own. The airconditioner did not fit the hole in the wall. The all time worst hotel I have ever stayed in and this was the best of the three room they offered us. They sould not even have a license to opperate.

$50 for 4 people, not bad at all. Has air-con, a shower and beds. If you want a jacuzzi and monkey butlers, you need to pay a bit more. The staff barely speak English, but it didn't really matter.

They could have done a better service, but it's worth for the money.

After I checked in and got in to room, I turned around and left immediatly. They did not get me back not even a dime!!!

Good location, but the hotel was dirty.

I was shocked and quite depressed upon entering my room. I wasn't expecting anything special based on the reviews I had read, neither was I expecting something this bad. The whole place is terribly run down and in need of major renovation. The carpets are disgusting and dirty and I would advise wearing footwear at all times. The beds are clean but mattresses very old and poorly sprung. If it weren't for the welcome I received upon check-in I would have checked out immediately. Sadly I never saw the person who checked me in again and the rest of the reception staff were very curt and unfriendly. The best thing about this place is the terrace looking out to the waterway, where it's nice to sit and unwind, but even this area is extremely shabby. Strangely, I would return to this place because it's a comfortable distance form all the craziness of South Beach, yet easy to get to all the action if you seek that. It's remarkably cheap and close to the beach. I was on a tight budget and this place suited my needs for 4 nights. Maybe it's because the room I was assigned had 3 double beds in it and I was travelling alone. Breakfast is virtually non-existent, with cereal, stale bagels and the worst coffee I ever tasted.

the hotel was pretty ugly on the outside and is nothing like pictures. the complimentary breakfast sucked and it were many south beach prostitutes in the lobby. if you are lucky enough to get a room on the 1st floor the hotel is pretty good. the room service sucked and they left a please tip sign on the lamp but therewere no bath towels or nothing in the room. but for the money its a quick in and out place to stay
