Tradewinds Apartment Hotel

got a great deal on a miami vacation and this place was very accommodating. it had a fresh feel to the room and the kitchen was nice to have (we didnt want to eat out all the time). you would have to walk to the beach but it wasn't that far and its a really nice beach! close to everything, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is nice and lovely. Rooms are well equiped. Flowers, lizards and cats enjoy sunshine around the apartment houses. Much better than those gigantic inhumane hives around. Fit to my European taste. There are small niches to sit outside with friends and family. The only problem is that you are not informed about the possibilities in a clear manner. It was not possible to catch the shuttle bus at the airport since the hotel name was not shown on it. Also, the staff looks unexperienced, forget your credit card, so you have to rush back from the airport...

It was an awesome experience to stay trade winds apartment hotel. I didn't even expect that much quiet and clean place and awesome stuff into my room. Hotel is very close to all kind of places that you needed. I strongly recommend this place for everyone especially for couples and would like to tell that I will visit that place when I plan to go to south beach again

We had a wonderful quiet time. Hotel is located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We love to walk, so the 7 blocks to Lincoln Road was fine AND the 2 mile walk to the end of Collins was good. Some people felt like this hotel was in an unsafe area. Dont worry, the area is fine. It is NOT an expensive fancy hotel, but those hotels are only 2 blocks away. We walked at night, but not after midnight. This hotel is heavily traveled by Europeans and South Americans and english is not the main language so be prepared. Cleaning staff are really wonderful, they just do not speak very much english. Google your phrases, translate to spanish, and let them know your needs. The transportation is great and saves money - just remember to reserve your return trip to the airport a day in advance. Rental cars are a pain due to NO PARKING. TIP - Park in the garage by Macy's at Lincoln Road for only $20 a night. Hotel is a renovated apartment complex, a little dated but very clean and staff works hard to keep the perimeter that way. Furniture is modern and works for a weeks stay. Minimal kitchen utensils. Respect the area as I saw a guest let their dog go potty on the sidewalk in the middle of the walkway and LEFT IT! OH MY! Walls are thin. We moved to an upper level unit after 2 nights of some noise. I would stay again.

We had been reseaching this place online. We were not disapointed. It was large and had a full sized kitchen, we were able to prepare full meals which was a great cost savings. The staff was generally freindly and nice however there was one woman who there in the day time who behaved more like a jail guard for some reason. Always better to deal directly with the manage who was usually present. The bus from the plane was easy and fast, they offered free bikes, even though only a few worked, also free happy hour at there sister location. The place was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Was not far from the action and close to the beach and boardwalk. We would stay again.

Located in the heart of South Beach this apartment hotel is all you need. Very clean and cozy places, 100% satisfied!!!

Went to South Beach for 15 days and had an amazing time at the trade winds. Perfect location and great room with kitchen! Great Value

the staff was very friendly, even though they didnt speak much english. the location was great, just a few blocks away from the mall nd 1 block away from collins. wish the pool was much bigger.

I visited Miami for vacation and I loved staying at Tradewinds. The apartment hotel made me and my partner feel as if we were at home...which is good. It is very spacious and clean- along with modern furniture etc. We both loved it. The walls are so thick we couldn't hear our neighbor. There is plenty of light coming from the windows which is a plus. I loved it and enjoyed my stay. The maintenance guys and housekeeping ladies were very sweet and helpful. The ONLY issue I had was with the ladies at the front desk....especially Paola. She had us standing there until she finished her conversation with the other workers behind the counter...what made it more annoying is that it happened again when were checking out. I find it rude to be gossiping in Spanish and not focus on checking us in or out. I wanted to ask a question and had to wait until she was finished laughing and gossiping. Overall, the experience was nice and will definitely visit again.

it was great!!! my girlfriend and I enjoyed very much. but some more improvement is need like a phone in the rooms. a warning never to parking across the street school zone we got a ticket on my rental car. "parking for the guest."
