Went for Aqua Girl 2012
Honestly, I had a wonderful time at this hotel and I am picky. I don't necessarily need 5 star amenities, but I do want to be comfortable and safe. This hotel exceeded my expectations. Breakfast consisted of a yummy assortment of fresh jams and bagels, french bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, and coffee. You could get plain coffee if you wanted, but why would you do that when THEY HAVE A FREAKIN' CAPPUCCINO MACHINE. I really enjoyed that breakfast ended late as well (11 on wkdays, 12 on wkends). Regular coffee, tea, cold water, animal crackers, and peanuts are available all day after breakfast, which is nice. The hotel is literally a 1 minute walk from the beach and the price to rent umbrella's and chairs are very reasonable ($12-15). The overall room was nice and worked well for 3 adult women. The decor is slightly lacking, but now that's just me being a brat. And you really can't beat the location. It's close to stores, bars, Lincoln Rd, and only a $10 cab ride it you want to go all the way to downtown Miami. I would definitely come to this hotel again if I returned to Miami.

Sold a dream that didn't come true
I was definitely sold on a lot of the amenities that this hotel offered that did not materialize when we got there. The staff when we arrived seemed to be unwelcoming as the only hello or smile we received was when we passed a cleaning staff person on our first day. It sounds petty but it was only the beginning of a bad experience. We proceeded upstairs to our room to find that our room was adjoined to another by a door, even though it was secure, we found it odd that they would place us in a room adjoined to another. The beds in the room look very clean and the linens were fresh, but the bed was hard a rock. The sofa in the room was softer than the bed. We definitely thought twice about sleeping on the sofa the second night of our stay. The Parisian Breakfast was overrated but it was probably the only reason I would give this place a star for it's rating. Don't be sold by the roofdeck, restaurant or lounge. The roofdeck was part of the big selling points for this place and yet when you get to the roof you are surrounded by lots of other taller hotels with no direct view of the beach. The Restaurant and Lounge were much more overpriced as compared to the other restaurants on Lincoln Road or just on Collins or Washington. Here were some of the last straws that made our stay the pits. Well, our room for a whole day while out was not cleaned. Then when we arrived back to our room at the end of the day we found that there was a note left in our door while we were in the room saying that they had passed by to clean the room. We repeatedly had to go to the front desk to get more towels and when we received new towels either from the front desk or room service we found that those towels were dirty. Our bathroom lights were dim and the tub and sink did not drain properly. Needless to say we will be seeking out other accommodations and not recommending this place to anyone.

Excellent staff, very chic
This was our first trip to Florida/Miami Beach and we were pleasantly surprised by the Townhouse Hotel. Very clean, ultra-friendly staff, good breakfast with quality items, chic setup. Location was minutes away for the beach, Lincoln shops, restaurants and a parking lot. The Townhouse Hotel was key to us having a wonderful Florida trip.

Excellent!!
The hotel located just steps away from the beach. On the way walk to the beach is very private. Staying at this hotel, you can feel escape from the crazy South beach. It's quiet and relaxing. Very good breakfast with the espresso coffee, all days free coffee and snacks. The hotel is very clean and fresh. The staffs are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. Love it!! I can't wait to go back!!

There is a very good Japanese restaurant in the hotel. You don't need to risk to try other restaurant which it's not worth your money.

some positives many negatives
stayed 1 night at the townhouse hotel, staff is friendly and helpful, nothing bad to say about them, they even allowed us to check in a few hours early. we were looking for a art deco style hotel, and the townhouse fits this class pretty well. location is nice, 5 minute walk from lincoln rd. and less than a minute from beach. cont. breakfast is not bad with variety of bagels, boiled eggs, oj, and coffee. our room was standard with 1 queen, the bathroom had a smell similar to sulfur coming from it (rotten eggs) we kept our bathroom door closed a this seemed to contain the smell. the ceiling above us seemed to be paper thin, this in combination with the ventilation pipes gave us no choice but to hear all conversations of our neighbor, along with all details of their intimate relationship, an every high heel that touched the floor (whether 10am or 2am)could be heard like a hammer. the lounge located two floors below us was non-stop until 4-430am this meant we could hear every base beat (fairly loud)until they shut down. overall the room was not too dirty, however pics online present this hotels accommodations as being much better than they are. the location is decent, room cleaniness is decent, sound privacy is very very poor. a hotel that can not provide a somewhat quiet and restful environment within its hotel rooms can not receive a good rating in my opinion
