Total Disappointment!

Would not recommend Thu, Jan 28, 2016
Was given a room on the floor directly above the lounge that plays LOUD music 24 hours a day. Staff at front desk is utterly incompetent- no one could ever answer anything I asked. My credit card was charged for items from mini bar that were never used. Rooms are sub-par A Rip off!

Very mixed experience

Would not recommend Wed, Dec 30, 2015
I stayed 1 night at the place for a quick-in-out wedding so take this review with a grain of salt. The good: seems like a good location. One member of the staff was very helpful in allowing me an early check-in so I could shower and iron before wedding. The bad: 1) in the days before, I called twice to request early check-in. Upon arrival, I was told there was no record of it and that there was an early check-in fee that I was never informed of. 2) The toilet chain broke at 2am. 3) The shower temperature never went above lukewarm. I didn't care in the afternoon when it was hot but in the morning, I would like my shower to be hot. 4) Light bulb broken in the room. 5) Upon told 2 and 3, their response was You should have told us sooner. At 2am, I just wanted to sleep. I wasn't about to change rooms just to shower and check out.

Fairly decent

Would recommend Tue, Dec 15, 2015
I was told about the deposit and the taxes but that's it. I showed up at 1130pm and there was no more shuttle running. Btw it's a shared hotel shuttle. I was never told about the beach shuttle or towels. The front desk needs to communicate better. The room is small but you aren't spending much time there. It's a place to sleep. I was pleased otherwise.

Lovely but LOUD

Would recommend Wed, Oct 21, 2015
There were so many things I loved about this hotel: the location, the rooftop pool, the FREE Happy Hour, the fun and friendly staff, the decor (and festive Halloween spirit). The only drawback is the noise level for rooms facing Collins Street. They need to invest in white noise machines or something. I'm not sure exactly who could stay comfortably there on a Saturday night. And I fear the Collins Street rooms are the ones they reserve for bargain travelers. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but request a quiet room.
