South Beach Hotel

I went on trip of pleasure, and the location of the hotel was very good, staff very attentive and friendly. The fourth good cleaning. Walk to the area of Ocean Drive, I went to the restaurants of Lincoln Ave and went in buss to Aventura Mall, I would recommend the hotel for its hubicacion, and the treatment of employees was excellent

I have stayed here before and was very happy to see that it was even better than my last visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to great restaurants and the convention center. Will stay there again . I have already recommended this hotel to associates.

2:00pm check-in and 12:00pm check-out gives you an extra 2 hours of fun. 1 block from beach and boardwalk. Just off of Collins Ave. Close enough to eateries, clubs etc. But NOT noisy! Cute outdoor space to relax. We heard several people complaining about long wait to get car from valet. Public parking just across the street that takes credit cards was a good option.

The hotel was comfortable, but there was no desk or chair in the room. No dresser for that matter. There were shelves in the closet for your clothes. Bed was comfortable. Lobby spartan with broken TV. TV in the room has some sort of software that did not match the remote control, so have to wait about 5 minutes after turning on to watch it. Two blocks from the beach and about 5 blocks from a lot of restaurants, but next to an abandoned apartment building that gave the immediate area a seedy feel. The folks at the desk were nice and helpful and the room was clean.

Even though this hotel was a little off the beaten path, I found it to be very comfortable. They served a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel staff and the cleaning personnel were very warm and friendly.

Clean, simple, and right off Collins Ave. Will stay here again. Short walk to everything. You don't need a car to visit the beach, clubs, or restaurants. Ladies wear comfortable shoes.

This hotel is located one block from the beach and one block from the W hotel. It is very clean and the rooms looked nice. You can't beat the price of this place for the location and appearance. It doesnt have all the amenities of the large hotels, but who wants to sit in the hotel all day.

Great location with just the right amount of distance from beach and nightlife. Clean hotel with nice sized room, and very friendly knowledgable staff. Recommended

Perfect location for the convention center. Room was clean, but the hall smelled musty. Very nice decor, and well maintained. Internet connection would have been nice for the business traveller.

My cousins and I went for the weekend. First things first they did not want to honor the reservation I had from cheaptickets. I booked 2 double beds. They told me they have me down for 1 King size because I only had 2 guests listed on the reservation. I told them that should not matter because I have the paper stating that I have 2 double beds. She said she couldn't do anything about it because they didn't have any more 2 doubles available. She saw that we were debating then said that if we wanted the room with 2 beds we would have to pay an extra $15 per night. We thought no more rooms were available. She says (with an attitude) I'm trying to cancel someone else's room so do you want it or not? By this time we did not want to stay here so we called cheaptickets about transferring our money to another hotel but they did not help us so we had to endure the rudeness. However, the next guy was very friendly and the lady that cleaned our room was very nice and the room was very clean and nice. However we were told that they "lost" all of the irons in the hotel. How is that possible?? We were told it was 1 block away from the beach but if you are going for fun (as we were we're 22-25 yrs old) then it isn't 1 block from the part of the beach you want to be on. Its actually about 10-15. If you want to be where everything is get a hotel on ocean drive or on collins around 15th street or something.
