South Beach Hotel

we stayed here during a layover. the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We traveled with 2 other couples and picked this hotel because of price and location. It was very quiet which may be unusual for many Miami Beach hotels because of the night clubs and street traffic. This is just off of Collins and traffic noise was minimal. It is not right in the heart of SoBe (hence the quiet) but we were able to walk where ever we wanted, or take the local bus for 25 cents. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Jozelle behind the desk and the two gentlemen who run the little breakfast service.

I spent 4 days at this hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful with whatever inquiries I had. The room was clean and comfortable, and offered cable TV. It was only two blocks away from the beach and in the vicinity of all the things you would typically want to do or go see in SoBe. However, simple changes would make this hotel that much better. Although the hotel does offer free WiFi, it rarely works. There is no communal computer or printer and I needed to print a ticket voucher, so I had to spend $5 at the public library (2 blocks away) to get a membership card and another $.25 a page. Also, the rooms could use a mini fridge and microwave, so I could later eat some of the great food from off the strip, because the South Beach Hotel doesn't offer any complimentary meals (nearly $4 for a plain muffin)!

2:00pm check-in and 12:00pm check-out gives you an extra 2 hours of fun. 1 block from beach and boardwalk. Just off of Collins Ave. Close enough to eateries, clubs etc. But NOT noisy! Cute outdoor space to relax. We heard several people complaining about long wait to get car from valet. Public parking just across the street that takes credit cards was a good option.

Even though this hotel was a little off the beaten path, I found it to be very comfortable. They served a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel staff and the cleaning personnel were very warm and friendly.

Clean, simple, and right off Collins Ave. Will stay here again. Short walk to everything. You don't need a car to visit the beach, clubs, or restaurants. Ladies wear comfortable shoes.

This is a very comfortable boutique hotel. It is 2 blocks off the beach and off the main street so no street noise. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was a surprise, although limited. I would definitely stay there again.

Sehr positiv überzeugt von dem Hotel. Es war sauber, gut ausgestattet (Klima, großer Flachbildschirm, Tel, großes Bett, ordentliches Bad) und alles in gutem Zustand ( Wand und Decke haben über die Zeit ein bisschen gelitten und wirkten von der Farbe ein wenig veraltet). Das Hotel verfügt über keine Poolanlage, perfekt für diejenenige die Miami erkunden wollen und ein Zimmer für die Nacht brauchen. Vom Flughafen kann man perfekt mit dem Bus bis zur 22 Straße fahren und dann sind es noch 1 Minute Fußweg zum Hotel und das für ca 1,25 $ pro Person. (Stadion bitte vorher nochmal überprüfen) Ansonsten liegt das Hotel sehr nah am Strand (3min) aber vielleicht noch so 10-15 min zu Fuß von dem eigentlich Zentrum South Beach entfernt, was in meinen Augen völlig okay ist. Personal war auch in Ordnung, wirkte nur ein wenig gelangweilt, aber denoch freundlich bemüht.
