No coffeemaker in room WiFi didnt work on Tuesday The shower didn't have a curtain

I spent 4 days at this hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful with whatever inquiries I had. The room was clean and comfortable, and offered cable TV. It was only two blocks away from the beach and in the vicinity of all the things you would typically want to do or go see in SoBe. However, simple changes would make this hotel that much better. Although the hotel does offer free WiFi, it rarely works. There is no communal computer or printer and I needed to print a ticket voucher, so I had to spend $5 at the public library (2 blocks away) to get a membership card and another $.25 a page. Also, the rooms could use a mini fridge and microwave, so I could later eat some of the great food from off the strip, because the South Beach Hotel doesn't offer any complimentary meals (nearly $4 for a plain muffin)!

I was not pleased with my stay at Southbeach Hotel, we never had enough towels and even worst was the fact that our room had ants. I reported the ant situation to the clerk at the front desk and he said he would put in a work order. The location was good, but the location was the ONLY good thing about this hotel.

South Beach hotel was great although, our room was on the ground floor, overlooking piles of rubbish bags outside the room, near the street. We were so tired that the noise from the street did not bother us and we only stayed a couple of nights. Apart from that, the room was spacious, had a kitchenette with a microwave which came in handy for a meal one night. The bathroom was clean and looked new. It was close to Collins Street and handy to Lincoln Street Mall. Jonathan on reception was great and helpful. He assisted us by ringing for a taxi when the shuttle to the airport did not show up. I would recommend the hotel.

The first day we arrived it was like going through a maze without directions. The young gentleman at the front desk of whom I cannot remember his name eased our mind and made our stay more than what we expected. The hotel was wonderful...the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend South Beach Hotel to all my friends and family.

Affordable, clean, comfortable, very nice modern look (flat screen TVs & great furniture), perfect location (in my opinion) not too close to all the commotion but not too secluded. It was located on a side street, not the main avenue so I liked that because there wasn’t too much noise during the night. The hotel may seem plain (non luxurious) from the outside but it looks fabulous inside. I originally booked a smaller room but the gentleman in the front kindly offered me a free upgrade to a more spacious room with a kitchenette! I loved the hotel’s Green initiative; it shows that they care. Keep in mind, this hotel does not offer continental breakfast. The beach was only a block away (walking distance). Lots of store and places to eat walking distance from the hotel (a few blocks away). If you don’t like to walk, there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

No pool, great location, was very good for the price. Would stay again.

This is a nice hotel and is within walking distance to the convention center. Many of my business associates who stayed at different hotels in the area complained about late night "party" noise at their hotels. I am happy to say that it was not an issue at the South Beach Hotel for me. The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy, and there was a nice walk in closet. The only downside was a lack of WiFi and old outdated TVs in the rooms. All in all, a good experience and value.
