Excellent
We went to south beach for my sister's bachelorette party, and it was excellent hotel choice. The rooms were big, loved the bathrooms, bed was super comfy. 1 block from the beach. Many restuarants near by. We walked to many places, cabs easy to get. The hotel staff was very cooperative. They give beach chairs and towels, which is great.

Everything good! We really recomend it: close to ocean drive, to mani shopping street, in front of the beach. The perfect mix for a good vacation.

What a perfect experience - from the greeting to the groovy rooftop pool to the seriously charismatic and highly talented servers and barkeeps (try the blood orange margarita or a "medusa"!!) to the yummy food...and then there was the clean, cute room and most COMFORTABLE bed ever! Great location - just a couple blocks away from the S. Beach mayhem and club scene, and just a quick step to the beach (and they provide you w/ handy, free fold-up beach chairs and towels to take with you)! Price absolutely reasonable - small boutique hotel, funky vibe exactly what we wanted , we'll be back.

Wonderful moderate priced hotel
Sense is located off of the main strip--which is nice because it is a lot quieter overall. The hotel has easy beach access across the street, and the resort fee gives you access to their towels, beach bags,and boogy boards. Also, the resort fees includes wifi access. I love the smell of the hotel when you enter and the feel is really serene and laid back. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has a rain shower and clear glass door(I can't stand shower curtains#. The staff is friendly and the little restaurant on the main floor has good food but are pretty small portions and priced pretty high#although what isn't in south beach). There's a Walgreens around the corner for all your needs--and Pinks is 3 blocks away!

Beautiful Hotel But Staff Disappointed
The good: The hotel is so pretty and cute. The rooms are surprisingly spacious with huge windows and there are nice Molten Brown products in the bathroom. The hotel is very clean. They offer you towels and beach chairs for $8 dollars a day. The hotel is located across from the beach and a few blocks from good restaurants and shopping. It is a little away from the craziness so it is nice and quiet. The bad: The pool in the hotel was closed due to a chemical imbalance. We were not even able to go on the roof top. At four in the morning we wake up and the fire alarm is going off. We run outside because water is dripping on us and then we later find out the pool was leaking. All the hotel did the next day was offer us $8 off our room per day (the beach chair/towel fee)!! They did not apologize or anything. The food in the hotel is very bad so do not eat there. The toilet barely flushed. There are no do not disturb signs so the maid woke us up everyday. Lastly, when we were leaving the luggage room was full so the receptionist said she would leave our luggage next to her and lock the door if she left. We came back to grab something later and we found our luggage abandoned and the door not locked.

Small and reasonable
Our experience at this hotel varied very directly with the person staffing the front desk. Since this was a small hotel, if the front desk person was helpful, everything was resolved fine, if they were not, things were slower. Overall it was fine - our refrigerator was broken and was fixed within a day.

very comfortable and stylish rooms
Very elegant rooms. Blinds don't close very well so lots of light still comes in, and the restaurant does not open for breakfast until about 8:30 so you have to go out unless you are a late sleeper. Also the resort fee added to the room price is annoying, since it basically pays for towels, but the rooms are elegant and comfortable and the location is great.

Great weekend getaway
I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The access to the beach is incredibly easy. The location of the hotel is far enough south that you are out of the craziness of south beach, but are still close enough to participate when you want. One thing to note the brunch menu says unlimited mimosas with brunch (and all of the hotel staff encourages you to get them). When you get the bill it is actually 14 dollars. Overall an amazing place. I will definitely be back.

A real south beach vacation
The hotel is small and cozy. Coffee shops, restaurants, clothing store all in walking distance. The best was being able to jog on the beach everyday.

okay
Room is clean, staff is helpful, however water pipes in my room's were making a loud noise. It did not allow us to sleep.
