Perfect location!!
The hotel has a great location, it's withing blocks of the beach, and the area is really nice. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. And it had a nice big window for the sun to come though. I would really recommend this hotel!

South beach but not royal....
I must say the location was perfect for our vacation to south beach...just a short walk to Mangos and ocean dr! The room did not look like the pictures and it is a very old building with absolutely no parking, think old hospital all white rooms with a strange white bed and a shower curtain as a closet door. If you want location though its good!

Happy hour appetizer specials on ocean dr, good deal! Don't let the waiters tell you the portions are small though and talk you out of the specials...many same size as pricey appetizers!!

Wouldn't stay there again
The room is nothing like the pictures. The only good thing I can say was the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. The walls are very thin so you could hear everything and the place was old and needed a lot of upgrades. I was actual shocked at how bad it was from the pictures on the internet.

best staff ever
lily and Mel are the nicest people i have ever met while traveling, i was a flight attendent for a few years so i have travelled alot and they were fantastic. the room was very clean and location was perfect

No frills hotel in a great location
I've rated this hotel 4 stars based on the location and value for money. It doesn't have any facilities such as a pool or restaurant, but there is really no need because it is located walking distance from South Beach, and with lots of restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity on Washington. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are fairly spacious. The hotel is in the process of upgrading the rooms so they will be great once the renovations are done.

Overall great trip
My time at this hotel was great, so great that I would like to stay there again this May. The hotel was clean and an okay size. The bathroom was nice and always as well. I loved the furniture in the room, it actually looked nicer than it does in pictures. Not only was the hotel room itself to my liking it was conveniently located in the South Beach area. I would definitely stay there again!

Very Comfy, get what you pay for
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and a day and it was very cozy Jan2013 Location is nice and they have a solarium with a jacuzzi (which I didn't get it). There's no comp breakfast as you have to pay each morning for breakfast. There is a fee per night that you must pay to the hotel directly upon checking out. The cleaning ppl were very nice the front desk ppl usually looked aggy to me. There is no stove in the suites only a sink, microwave and fridge. The furniture needed to be dusted and wiped down

good impression in general
Perfect location, reasonable price. Had a litte problem with shower, but staff was very nice and helpfull, and tried there best to arrange situation. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Only down point is the street noise going on all night, but this is what you get for staying in the heart of south beach Miami. I recommend this hotel to young folks who want to party !!!
