Royal South Beach Hotel

The location was amazing. I did not have to catch one cab in my four day stay. You are literally 2 blocks from the beach and a two minute walk from any type of food. The room was clean overall but something about the look of the building and the "infamous smell" everyone has mentioned just had me on edge. I could never get too comfortable because the hotel did not look luxurious, but hey you get what you pay for. It is only 2 floors to the hotel aside from the lobby so ALL street noise, this includes people trying to show off their motorcycle engine at 4 am, was heard while I tried to sleep. If I needed to stay here again I definitely would but I'll choose a different hotel next time. Go ahead and spend a little more money for better quality and amenities.

The staff was courteous and prompt. The rooms were beautiful, modern and clean. Lovely 2nd floor patio with warm and clean hot tub. Perfect location to walk to the beach and night life. Totally affordable! Don't think I could have found a better deal.

The Royal is a historic type hotel located two blocks from South Beach. Its only a block away from great stores and restaurants and the staff (especially Ms. Mel at the front desk) was nice and helpful pointing me toward good food, tours and attractions. Had a good time and was comfortable in this hotel!!

I was very disaapointed with this hotel. Definitely not 3 stars. The pictures looked great but was not what i expected. It was clean but run down. i chatted with your staff and thought she had a clear view about what i wanted but didn't. I always used your website. This is the first time I was disappointed.

Nice stay at this hotel. Friendly staff. Great location. Hotel not a 5* but it's what you would expect in a hotel. For the price you can't lose. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, not too small. The hotel tried a little too hard to be modern, but it was comfortable. I recommend it if you want to stay in South Beach and near A1A.

Its a decent hotel. They have solarium, basically that's the only attraction part.. you see people around there chillin and fine girls hanging out.

Royal South Beach is a good hotel. Walking distance and great location. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room smelled at times but nothing major. They also have beach chairs, no charge! Dont be fooled by the other comments, this hotels have fresh linen, fresh towels, and HOT WATER!

Don't stay here unless you plan on staying out until 5 am every night. The hotel is on top of a night club and you may as well be in the night club it is so loud in the room. You cab hear it all throughout the hotel no matter what room you are in. Our room was literally shaking it was so loud. We called the front desk and they said that was just how it was on the weekends. It was thur. We moved hotels the next morning and asked for a refund. Also the water in the shower was not hot and the rooms were tiny. These things could have been dealt with but the fact that the whole room was shaking from the music was unacceptable. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

There is a club on the bottom floor of this hotel. It doesnt close down until 5AM. We couldnt hear anything from our room. The location is great and they are very friendly. Room was small but very comfortable. For the price you cant beat it.
