Riviere Apart Hotel

I was there recently for Spring Break. The hotel is in a well known area and within walking distance (less than a mile) of pretty much any and everything that you might want to do. The rooms are clean, the staff is pretty nice (but we didn't use them much), they helped and didn't give us any trouble when we did need something. Its was also great that they took and returned security deposits in cash, so you dont have to hand in credit card info or wait a week to see your money again. My biggest complaint would be that their desk is not open between 2am and 8am, so you need to be sure to go through protocol for check out the night before if you have an early flight. Overall, I liked it and if you are down there to do things other than sit in a hotel then it has everything you need except food.

The Riviere Apart Hotel is a great choice for the value traveler. Located in the South Beach area - only two blocks from the beach, but avoiding the hubbub of Ocean Avenue (for those of us that actually like to sleep at night), this centrally located property is a great value. The rooms are comparatively spacious; there is abundant foliage to give the Riviere a cool tropical appearance; the the service is friendly. [...] will take care of any problems that may arise in a fast, efficient manner.The Riviere is remodeling its rooms; prices are expected to increase. Check this property's rates against those of similar properties. They should still be competitive.

This hotel is right in the middle of all of the action! Although it was not fancy by any means the location more than made up for it. We were in walking distance to any club and shopping that we wanted. The beach was about a block or two away. The staff was excellent even though the housekeepers do not speak english.

I was doing my regular research and I found this hotel, read reviews and totally went for it. No regrests, it was a very plesant stay, nicely decorated rooms, modern, bathroom amenities, large flat screen tv, location for us was a must and the Riviere has the best location, Collins and 14th St if you know South Beach you know what I am saying. All clubs and restaurants are within steps from the riviere. The front desk staff is also very friendly and helpfull, specially Sergio

Hotel is right on the street, lots of noisy motorcycles etc all night long.Good general location, restaurants,shopping. 1 block from Emeril Laggase's restaurant, 2-3 blocks from the beach

This was my first trip that I planned myself and I'm very glad that I did my research and checked peoples reviews on the hotel. My stay was exactly what I expected and the room looked like the pictures I had seen online. I felt safe there knowing that not just anyone could walk around the back without a key. The only thing I would say is that we had to wait a little while for more towels, but I can understand the guy was busy. There were a lot of people checking in during our stay. The hotel is in a great location. Only a block away from Ocean Ave, that's where most of the restaurants are and Collins itself has many different spots to hang out at. I spent most of the time I was there on Ocean walking the strip. Also if your not looking to spend a lot of money on food, there is a small kitchen area where you can go right to CVS or if you have a car find a supermarket and stock up on food. Since our stay was only for the weekend we went right to CVS on Washington (not sure of the cross street) but it isn't too far from the hotel. All together it was a great trip and a good hotel!

We went to South Beach for New Years Eve and didn?t want to spend a fortune on the hotel. After arriving at this property we were all very pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. The rooms are spacious and colorful, recently remodeled with a kitchen and seating area. Iron, hairdryer and other things are easily available for free on request from the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. The best part though is that you are 2 minutes away from the beach! Great place, we will definitely be back!

At check in, we were greeted by an unfriendly staff member and things never got better. The kitchen smelled of old grease. The hotel only provided one set of towels and when we called for more, it took them over an hour to deliver a new set. When asking for an iron, staff refused to offer it and insisted on bringing it up to the room. It arrive 30 seconds later. This incident was uncomfortable because the male staff member was delivering the iron to a room with 2 single women.

Ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Schlafzimmer und Badzimmer sind gross genug. Zum Glück hat es 2 Klimaanlagen im Apartment gehabt, da es ansonsten sehr heiss ist. Freundliches Personal das immer hilfsbereit war. Jedoch hörte man durch die dünnen Wände meistens die Zimmernachbaren! Dadurch waren manche Nächte nicht erholsam und ruhig! Ansonsten empfehlungswert.
