Princess Ann Hotel

Our stay at this Hotel was very good. The room was clean and plenty of clean towels. The room had a good smell. We were given a room with a king size bed. Needs and upgrade of a flat screen tv. The staff was very friendly at all times and the continental breakfast was good. ( Real Coffee) I would stay here again. It was close to all the restaurants, night clubs and all rentals. Lots of shopping stores and best of all 1 block from the Beach.

If you plan on spending all day at the beach and using this hotel just to sleep and shower it's fine. Bathroom is small but clean. Room and sheets could use a good cleaning, but for a few days it was fine. Unfortunately because of heavy rains we were in the room more than we wanted to be. The location is great, only 1 block away from the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. Safe area. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, then don't go here. You get what you pay for.

This hotel was great. Although, the hotel was not as elaborate as expected, the room was suitable, continetal breakfast and great staff. I think the hotel should consider benches on the outside for guests to sit and chat. This hotel is in great location to the beach....WOW!!!! I had an awesome time......One exciting feature was my ability to rent a bicycle and ride around the town....Just great.

You get what you paid for! My boyfriend and me came here to have a vacation, it was perfect! Just 3 min. to the beach! And in the total party area! Nice! We would come back!!! Location is better than Hotel;)

Went to this hotel with low expectations after reading awful reviews. It did the job! Beds clean and reasonably comfortable. Bathroom clean but light switch next to sink cause for concern be careful. Air conditioning very noisy and there is a strange smell which was described in other reviews. Carpets need renewing but took flip flops to walk around in. Breakfast in Lobby ok to get you going, nice cup of coffee! Staff very pleasant but if you are on 3rd floor there is no lift and you have to be prepared to carry your suitcase upstairs. Very handy location,a short walk to South Beach and Ocean Drive.

This place is a a dump, called a hotel. The lobby is covered with bath tiles,same with the stairwell-about 40 steps which you will have to climb to get to your room.No elevator. The room was small,barely fit a large bag and 2 carry on . The smell was horrible inside,like dirty socks and old urine. Crooked walls,coax cable hanging on the walls. The TV was 30 years old at least. An AIC attached to a piece of plywood,attached to the window sounded like a jet engine. Finally the morning came and we moved out immediately.We had booked 5 nights,barely survived one. Long time ago I slept on a construction cite for 3 months,no roof.It was way better than this hotel!

The hotel had all the basic needs; good location, bed and running water but it lacked style. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. My room had a mildew smell and the carpet was disgusting. They have a ridiculous rule that hotel guests can not have visitors in their rooms, (hello I am an adult). I would recommend this hotel for a student.

The Princess Ann is nothing special, but its a great bang for your buck. If I was the owner, I would replace the carpets in the room with either tile or some laminate flooring. The staff was very freindly and the weather was awesome. Truthfully, if your in South Beach you only need the room to sleep, bang, and shower

Don't go there for the amenities-- although it's fine for sleeping, showering etc.-- go there because it's a block from the beach and near everything else. It's a fraction of what you'll pay anywhere else. The staff is friendly, the coffee is free, you can stash some beer in your room's frig and you can use your iPad in the lobby. Happy!

The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The hotel needs to be updated. It is in a perfect location. It is walking distance from restaurants, shops, bars and ocean.
