Do not stay at Park Centeral!
Power went out in the hotel for 10 hours! There was a constant noise coming from the bathroom that was VERY ANNOYING !! Elevator was out of service numerous time..would never stay there again.

We had a great stay. Staff was great. Compared to the nearby, more expensive hotels in which we have stayed I felt this was just as good, if not better...We had a pool, & complimentary lounge chairs, which we didn't have to carry out to the beach...both were a plus. The cafe had great staff, & great food (only had their breakfast, appetizer)...good prices.

Fun time, okay stay
Miami offers something for everyone, families, couples, friends on spring break (we are the latter). The staff was kind of friendly, but didn't really go out of their way to help. The towel staff was actually arrogant and the cleaning ladies sort of did their own thing, hanging out with each other more than anything. In addition, some lights were out in our room and every night there was a pungent smell in the hallways of the hotel because of the operations of the restaurant downstairs. It's a cool place to crash, so I guess the right price for the value, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Couple weekend getaway
From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly!The hotel entrance was inviting... Our impression of the decor was "Casablanca" Dated in the rooms and hallways but VERY clean and comfortable bed. No smells and a great air- conditioner. Very quiet...and we loved the location. The Walgreens was right around the corner.

Great location but a little shabby!
Reception had no record of our booking whatsoever!! Luckily they had 2 rooms available.Restaurant & cafe very expensive.

Happily stayed many times
We've stayed at Park Central at least seven times and love it. The location is right in the heart of the lovely deco district, but the hotel itself is somewhat isolated from the noise.

This place is at a great location. This is where fun starts on sobe, i.e. from 5th st to 19th st. Before 5th there is nothing on SOBE. Here is the summary. Looks old just like other art deco hotels, rooms are small, bathrooms are tiny, hotel staff is very courteous, amenities are bleh, rooms are kept very clean. Beds can be more comfortable. If you are still confused- if u spend most of the time outside your room on vacations then take it for the location especially if you are getting a good deal. BTW, the rooms next to elevator (numbers are 102, 202 etc) are small with lots of noice from elevator so dont take it.

Not the place if you're looking for some relaxing serenity!
Well, if you are looking for fashion, night life and partying, this is the place for you. My girlfriend and I made the mistake of coming to this hotel and part of the beach. We realized we wanted something calmer and ended our stay early and went up this beach a bit to quieter side of town. Complaints: a non-renovated room (even most expensive room), several blurry cable channels, couldn't connect to their internet and connected of city of Miami's instead, NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM, windows over looking beach were dirty (come on, it's a beach front view!), ...

Great !!!!
The ambiance was perfect for our 23rd anniversary. Sunrise on the verdana & sunset on the rooftop. And the Quinn restaurant was outsanding. The service was excellent. They made us feel special. Highly recommended.
