Orange Bowl trip
The staff was extraordinary! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. While the exterior is not as plush as some other hotels in the area, the rooms have been completely renovated and are fabulous! The beach is pristine. Only complaint was that the restaurant features a mind-numbing DJ. No one was dancing and the music was far too loud and completely unnecessary.

No Hot Water
The hotel was nice except for the fact that the hottest the shower water reached was around 70F even though the sink water was slightly warmer. We informed the staff the first day about the problem and nothing was done. On day two we complained again and the sent someone up and they said "Yes, that is as hot as it is getting." On the final day of our stay the water might have reached 80F which was fantastic but still not an enjoyable shower. The only word of advice is that some of the pictures are misleading on their website.

Decent Place
The location of this hotel is good. It is northern part of Miami Beach, which is less crowded compared to the South Beach. The beach and the ocean are PERFECT! There are several restaurants around, but most of them are overpriced. The Epicure gourmet store is a good place to get a good quality food. The room was clean, althought not a brand new. We've stayed in better hotels before, but considering the price and location, this is a good value. I would recommend to stay there.

a horrible experience
The location was great but the service was lousy...as I arrived there was no toilet paper in my room, guest services took forever to come. They charged me 30 dollars for internet and gym that I didn't use...as per the hotel its mandatory... and the heater was not working in my room and without forgetting that I didn't have hot water...
