Mondrian A Morgans Hotel

Sexy, fashionable and close to everything on the beach. I stay here often usually with very beautiful women all of whom love it.

Fantastic location on the quieter side of South Beach - but a complete rip off for wi-fi and parking fees. Also very noisy - inside and outside.

Great gym with complimentary water bottles and overlooking the inter-coastal for no additional charges. Much larger room than most hotel rooms on South Beach. Away from the late night traffic but a short walk or taxi ride to anything on the Beach.

This hotel is very relaxing and away from tge party crowd. It is in south beach but about 6 blocks or so from all the hustle bustle. Great place to stay. The entire hotel was clean and fresh.

Nice hotel, nice pool, nice rooms, staff really good

I have nothing negative to say about my experience here. It was a first class, chic, comfortable, and trendy spot with great people watching and excellent food. The service was impeccable; I would recommend this hotel.

I stay at the Mondrian 6-8 times a year and I always have an enjoyable experience. This time I tried the 500 sq ft room vice the 800 sq ft room, which is just as nice. (One complaint: I don't understand why they don't have iPod/MP3 players in the rooms. This is 2011!)The pool is always fantastic and the service I receive is amazing. [...] always make sure my guests and I have a great time! Sure, the furniture in the cabanas could probably use a refresh...Unfortunately, there were a couple of minor issues with my stay. A "Twitter accident" caused the pool to be overrun by kids that received a tweet that there was a late evening party at the Mondrian pool. No big deal, but the staff seemed unable to deal with the problem... Also, I thought I had enough "pull" to get a late checkout, but I was mistaken. Yet other first-time guests were accomodated with late checkouts for some reason! Once again, no big deal...

I have stayed here before and had wonderful service....NOT this time! An hour wait (and 3 phone calls) to get our 2 small bags delivered to the room. Then an hour wait to order a drink by the pool...and it wasn't even crowded. And finally an hour wait (and 3 phone calls) to get clean towels brought to the room. Very surprising fo a 4 and 1/2 star hotel. We tried to contact a manager and were sent to voicemail.

The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving us the local hot spots. We had an issue with our first room, they changed our room immediately. The hotel is an oasis away from Ocean Drive and Collins Ave, yet within walking distance from both. Asia de Cuba was awesome. Great cocktails and high quality food!!! Be sure to visit their sister hotel the Delano for the beach and a whole different hotel experience. All in all a wonderful trip.

The Hotel: It was semi-clean and but tried very hard to be Miami modern. I was disappointed in the quality of the furniture. I felt everything (Chairs, Headboard, Tables, Etc) were all plastic. I would figure for that kind of money they could throw in a little mixed media. Our couch was filthy and the white lampshades needed to be cleaned. They were covered in dust and spots of some foreign substance. The Bar: Service was ok and the drinks were strong. The Pool: The crowd was a bit more "sophisticated". Not a lot of college kids or kids in general, which was nice. Pool Wait staff: The WORST ever! The waitresses were not there to serve or cater to your needs. The girl with the brown hair and hideous white visor should be fired! I had to ask her 3 times for a menu and finally gave up and got it myself from the bar. After spending over $500 at the pool bar, you'd think my guest and I would have received a little more attention. The guy who runs the pool was fabulous and on the spot. I just wish they would get rid of the girl with the enormous white visor. [...]
