Lorraine Hotel

It was a fairly good place 2 stay but the lady at the front was terrible. It seemed like she didnt want 2 be there. But the maid sevice was good and friendly.

I never received any room service unless I asked every day. My fiance and I were both charged double for a resort fee that the hotel should be ashamed of charging. There is NO wi-fi internet service in your room as they stated and their beach towels are extremely small. The amenities that we paid for were horrible. I would never stay in this hotel again. Worst experience ever.

The Lorraine was a conservitive but pleasent place to stay the night, steps from the beech, the boardwalk and affordable food.It had the best water pressure. Location Location you only get what you pay for in South Beech for the price I would stay here again, clean,quite,convienent and cheap.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The central air did not work, the room was hot and humid. They didnt even provide enough towels for my three friends and I. The location was far from resturants and was inconvenient. It is not exactly an oceanfront because there is a hotel right infront of it. The elevator broke so we had to walk up and down to the top floor in high heels. The last day when the elevator was still broken we had to drag our suitcases down. They were even damaged. Breakfast was a joke, someone literally bought gallons of milk and filled a shopping cart with it. The choices were a small muffin, yogurt and cereal. There wasn't even an ice machine. The workers were most unprofessional and didnt even want to check us out. They hardly spoke any english and were hard to communicate with. The fire marshall was called to the hotel several times. [...] Absolutely the worst hotel stay in my life, I don't know who in their right mind would ever recomment this place. Its terrible and its not worth a cent.

We were VERY disappointed with this hotel. First of all, the air conditioning was not working, and it was 88 degrees outside. We were first told that it had to be shut down for monthly maintenance; 5 hours later they admitted it was broken. Also, there are no individual thermostats in the rooms to adjust heating and/or cooling. The elevator was very small and hot as well, and took a long time coming. The room was very old-fashioned, especially the bathroom. The only mirror available was in the bathroom, and the pillows were the flattest I have ever seen. This is NOT a four-star hotel. We had to leave there, go to another hotel, and pay additional money! [...]

The customer service is not the best at all they act like they are doing you a favor for letting you stay there. If you want to speak to the manager, forget it. They will make up all the excuses possible not to ever meet with them, even though they are right next door. The hotel does not have a personal pool or any pool at all for that matter. The contiental breakfast is a joke, they should not even include that feature/detail in their ads!! You cannot talk or walk in your rooms because other people complain, and that counts as your first warning. Quiet hours are at around 9pm and they mean quiet, they are very rude. You cannot even use the hair dryer past 9pm or you will have your second warning. And by your third one you are out!"Beach towels" are smaller that a regular towel. I have stayed in many hotels for business, family, and fun and this was the biggest disappointment of them all. If you ask them of any good place they look at you and say, "No!". And on top of it all they talk about you in your back in spanish. I took spanish in high school and was able to pick up on bits and pieces to put it all together. Never again will I consider going or recommending this place to any one.

When we arrived the hotel was already full, but the offer us, at no additional expense, to have a room at their sister hotel, more expensive and in a more "lively" location They really made their best! Very customers service oriented!

While we were in Miami we spent a lot of time at the beach, this is a great little place to rest at. The only issue I had was that it was a little noisy, we were on the second floor and the every morning around 9-10ish the cleaners would make a lot of noise. Made it hard to sleep, they love to slam doors. Other than that it was a great place, nice continential breakfast, friendly people, and great location.
