Full-service resort with zero-entry pool and seven restaurants
Majestic palms line a promenade leading to this white palace in the heart of South Beach. The full-service, 790-room resort woos with sweeping views of the Atlantic, bay and Miami skyline. There is an onsite spa and seven restaurants and bars, including Emeril's Miami Beach. Opulent and updated, the contemporary hotel attracts couples, singles and families. Walk around Washington and Collins, there are lot of nice places to eat.

Hotel was nice. Staff was ordinary. Pool, jacuzzi and outside staff were excellent as well as The ocean! Not a 5 star hotel but a solid 4. Valet Car service was slow. I will try a different place next time I'm in Miami Beach.

Worst hotel in this price range I've ever stayed at
Where to start: Had confirmed adjoining rooms, but told none available when we arrive. The rooms they gave us were not ready when we arrived. We go to the outdoor eating area to get a bite while waiting. Uncleaned tables with birds picking over the trash. $14/glass for house wine plus 20% gratuity. $3.50 for overripe bananas. $15/day for internet. Being made to leave the area adjacent to the pool so they can make money from a private function when there were no chairs available directly within the pool area. I've stayed in lots of "premium" hotels in lots of locations, and I've never seen anything like this before. Fool me once...we won't be coming here again.

About as good as it gets
Service was extremely friendly, the room was spectacular and clean, and the location is stellar. It is pricey, but worth every penny. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great stay
A very nice hotel that was just enough fun Miami pool scene atmosphere, but not over-the-top like some hotels. Maybe a little overpriced.

Wonderful Family Getaway!
The Loews is a great Hotel, the staff is friendly and always uses your name. We brought our 3 yr old with us and by the 2nd day all the staff knew him by first name. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. I have been in the hospitality industry for 12 yrs so I know a good Hotel when I see one. You cannot go wrong with the Loews South Beach- beautiful ocean views, great pool area and in it is located in the quiet area of the strip but if you want to venture down Ocean Drive, into the midst of the wild you most certainly can. We will definitley be back!

There are Restaurants all up and down Ocean Drive, but the Hotel has a great Sushi Restuarant as well as a Casual Dining Restuarant called Preston's. Miami is a bit pricey with the 18% gratuity + tax so you do have to be aware of prices.

Loews Miami Beach
Relaxing vacation by the pool and at the beach. Great staff. Expensive food and drinks. Bed was a little to soft.
