Indian Creek Review
We didn't stay at the hotel very much becuase of all the things goin on at South Beach. The rooms were a little smaller than I expected, but it was not too bad. It's a older hotel that fits the average bill, but if your looking for a luxurious stay Indian creek is not the hotel for you. However if you're just looking for a average nice stay, Indian creek will be just fine.

Long walk from hotel
During memorial weekend at south beach, traffic is crazy, so it's really not worth renting a car. However it is a good walking distance from where all the entertainment is

Ok hotel. Affordable/safe/good location
I went with my friend (in our early 30s) for a quick, relaxing vacation away from work desiring, sun, warmth and to have fun. This hotel was close to the airport whcih was convenient. We found out when we were leaving that there is a public bus that takes you to airport which cost us $2.50 one way/person and it comes every 30 mins, I think? You should confirm the schedule. The hotel was easy enough to find and the best things about it was that:1-Close to a few eateries Tropical Beach Cafe (that was cheap/easy food for breafkast/lunch with outside seating-Get the grilled fish), Subway, grocerie store for water, aloe, sunscreen, meds, fruit, etc. and so we frequented these places everyday and they proved to be essential! 2-It was an easy 2 block walk to the beach. 3-Location to beach and easy access to other things. 4-If you're interested, there is a breakfast downstairs but it consists of sugary pastries, and coffee and nothing mroe than that. We opted for fresher/cheap breakfast at Subway or Tropical Beach Cafe. If you want to be close to the partying or nightlife, this hotel is pretty removed from all the craziness. AFter having gone, I wish I were a tad closer to it all. It was a quick cab ride but still it woudl have been conveneient and easy to be clsoer or within walkign distance. The customer service was ok depending on who you get. There was a guy named [...] I think that did not have the best in customer service by any means. He was hit or miss. Sometimes I'd stand there for a minute or two and he'd give me the hand and say "wait just a minute" without even looking at me. haha So I'd have to patentienly wait until he was done with whatever it was that was so much more improtant than helping the customer in front of him. We did arrive early so he kept telling us the room woudl be ready soon and hours and hours later it wasnt. On the other hand the other hotel desk staff was very nice and helpful. There is no bell hop. Although he stored my laptop bag behind the desk so that it wasn't sitting out all day while we waited for the room. If you're waiting to check in your bag is sitting int he corner of the lobby out in the open...It was a generally quiet hotel and away from all the hustle/bustle of the SoBe partying. Room: We had 1 king bedroom. It was a fine size. The bed was comfrotable, the windows that opened were nice. The bathroom was mediocre, nothign fancy/fantastic. Although the shower water randomly changed to hot water all of sudden mid shower. Not sure why but it happened a few times. The closet for our clothes smelled liek a dirty gym sock.. whcih was gross. No in-room safe. A/C provided. Internet for 2 days was approx $18 I believe and it was easy to use. Pool: The outdoor patio area is very green and full of lush green plants/flowers. The pool itself is small and didn't look very clean. Although we went on its first opening day. The pool seemed a bit greenish and dingy to me. Woudln't want to go in it esp when you have a beautiful blue beach 2 blocks away. Cabs/transportation: Cabs/public trasnprotaion was plentiful all aroudn the hotel on either main road. We caught a cab easily out on the streets outside the hotel.

What I expected
Hotel itself wasn't that spectacular, but it was quiet and a good location. Not right in the heart of South Beach but a nice walk to get to the action. I would stay there again.

Out of the Way
Room was small, nothing fancy. Wallshaker AC. Bathroom small as well, but in good condition. We stayed 2 nights. Doors and walls are thin, we heard the neighbor snoring and the following night we were woken by a crying baby. We got there at midnight, and by the time we woke up we were covered in some sort of insect bites (mites? bed bugs? We didn't find anything but it was definitely the room). Place is old, lobby is quite charming, there is an old tabulating machine, suitcases and other trinkets. Breakfast was coffee and danishes, which hit the spot. Parking is on the street is "metered parking" so you have to get up at 7:45AM to make it over to the meter machine for the 8AM-6PM metering time, weekends included (quarters or the system you can use credit cards with and load up for the whole day). The public parking lot is a block away, plenty of parking. There is a Subway, an Italian restaurant, a market place all a block away on Collins which was quite convenient. We just wanted a cheap place to crash and spend time on the calm beach. This place fit the bill.

Decent for South Beach
Most South Beach hotels have small rooms and this is no exception. Quiet area during the sleeping hours but construction right across the street started every morning at 7. Apparently the garden view rooms are much quieter. CLose to the beach, a bit of a walk to the southern part of Miami Beach. Front desk staff was friendly.

everything is good. Just be careful for the water in the fall. It is right in front of the door, if you come back late.

A room
It was an ok Hotel, They had no parking and parking on the street was metered .25 for 15 minutes. So bring plenty of quarters. There were a couple parking lots in the area but not close which were 10 a day. The rooms were clean but very cobbled.Ex the sink facett was not the right one for the type of sink so to wash your hand was almosat impossible. No free internet its second party internet and they want your credit card.
