Hotel Eva

The elevator was not working and it seemed that it was not working for quite some time. There were no cups in the room. There was a full kitchenette with microwave - but no kitchenware. There wasn't even a mug to heat a cup of tea. The room was clean, and the location was excellent, just a few blocks from South Beach. Overall it was a good bargain. But next time I'll pay a few bucks more and get a hotel with a working elevator.

The elevator didn't work when I arrived. The Internet also didn't work when I was there. It will be better to call the hotel in advance to make sure they work before booking this hotel.

The elevator worked 20% of our 5 day stay. The first night we had to carry our bags to the third floor. There was no divider in the shower so the entire bathroom floor would flood. Despite a reservation for 3 people we only had towels for 2 and no washclothes. We didn't eat at the hotel because it was overpriced compared to other restaurants. The safe did not work. The ceiling/floor was very thin because we woke up to our neighbors stomping every morning. The staff was friendly.

The hotel is not the best. The staff were great and very helpful. However, it is not the cleanest or the nicest. The restaurant they have is amazing

Great little hotel right in the middle of the action of South Beach. Room was clean and spacious. If parking at the hotel is full there is other parking stations close by. Overall a good experience.

great hotel, nice rooms for the price we paid. super comfy beds. food downstairs was amazingg. perfect location just 2 blocks from beach and few a few blocks from nightlife. very happy will recommend and will stay again.

great hotel only thing is missing is a pool but it doesnt matter cause most the time u at the beach everything is right there they have a 24 hour resturant at the corner and a mini resturant in the hotel quiet could get a nice sleep after a nite out on the town not like the hotels on ochean ave were u could hear everyone yelling while u sleeping or music playing at 9am will go back

It was in a perrrfect location...close to everything you need. a block from the beach. food, shopping and night clubs in walking distance. The only bad thing was that there was a weird order to the hotel when we first checked in but it when away after the first couple of days. Friendly staff.

Was in SoBe on business with the kids. Had a couple of problems with the room the first day that were taken care of. Will try this hotel again as it is centrally located and reasonably priced.

The hotel is a throw-back to the 60's & has a certain retro flavor to it. It's adorable from the outside & you'd think it's a place you'd love to check-out. First, the garage holds a total of 10 cars & that's it. You can barely park in the small spots & get out. Forget about 2-cars being in there at the same time & trying to park or exit! Oh, & that will cost you $20 a day! The worst part of this hotel, isn't the dirty A/C unit or dirty sheets, it's the [*] staff. They were fighting right in front of the guest like an old married couple. When we went to check-in, we were TOLD to sit & wait because she couldn't handle printing out previous paperwork. My office at home is more high-tech, than this place with there wobbly table & 1999 computer. It was just awful! They had never even heard of [...] or understoond my reservation. The cheap price isn't worth the stress & hassel of this place. We were on the 2nd floor & the noise was awful; you could hear ever sound, footstep & creak. It was just a mess!
