Hotel Breakwater

From curb side service to check-in, from room decor and amenities, it was a very nice experience. Great location. Great restaurant and bar. Our view was poor, as expected when getting a special rate, but the other amenities made up for it.

I liked this hotel for its location and decent pricing considering its on the Ocean in South Beach. The Bed was really comfortable. This is not a good family hotel. Our room was located right above the patio of a live music venue that played really loud every night until 12 a.m. So if you want to go to bed early, forget it. Try for a room that doesn't overlook that venue and it might be okay. Too bad I wasn't with someone that liked to dance! There are bikes and internet for free and the staff were great. Parking is valet only.

Shower didnt work properly, very small room. Restaurant waitress very rude. Have to pay for parking plus they were trying to charge us extra for another day. ALWAYS check your receipt and charges cuz it seemed like they were trying to charge us extra at the restaurant and the hotel. Would not come back to that hotel!!

Hotel was very clean and accomodating even if they were booked solid. The hotel is located in the heart of the Ocean drive scene. Lots of restaurants and things to do. Beach is within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

this is not a five star hotel. it is clean and nice and bust location and nice for a boutique hotel. good value but not luxury 5 star.

The location is ideal! Right in the heart of Ocean Drive and perfect view of the ocean. Natalie from the front desk was amazing! She accommodated us with everything, had great recommendations and her overall customer service was elite. My only complaint would be about their housekeeping.. we stayed five nights and housekeeping only came twice. We would call to get our room cleaned and they would never show up, we had to call for clean towels and glasses almost every day.. other than that Hotel Breakwater is a great place to stay and I definitely will be staying there again!

Starting with positive aspects: we got a great price for a suite room facing Ocean Blvd. View and room were great. Negative aspects: I booked a king bed and only got a queen. The staff didn't have any suggestions on how to fix this...very disappointing! The worst part of staying here was that the staff was not helpful or courteous.

got a partial ocean view room, and got a room with a view to the backyard... they didnt really cared about it... other than that the hotel was very nice, good location, good restaurant, great bed and badroom. not noise at all for me...

The staff was quite helpful, especially since our flight left later in the day, so they were accomodating by storing our luggage for us. The location doesn't get any better- within walking distance of everything. The Clevelander hotel is right next store, so if you're looking for a good nightlife spot, that's the place. But know that the music is pretty loud and goes late. The food at the hotel restaurant is good, but the wait staff is quite slow, but we found that to be the case everywhere we went. The rooms are pretty nice, but the elevators are small . Overall it was a great stay, I'd recommend it.
