Art Deco boutique hotel near South Beach clubs, shops and restaurants
Original 1936 Vitrolite panels light the entrance to this Art Deco jewel in the heart of South Beach. The 42-room hotel is more minimalist than its flashier competitors and has been restored to its initial splendor. The expansive lobby has a tiled floor and dramatic lighting reminiscent of Hollywood glamour. Inside, rooms favor the less-is-more approach. Expect lots of white -- Miami Beach's signature color --sleek furniture and Roman shades.

This hotel was perfect for me as I was in town for Pride. Two blocks from Ocean Drive and all the action. The rooms were spacious for this area and the bathrooms were fairly large. I stayed on the ground floor and it did get a bit loud being by
the staff exit door...especially in the morning. I would certainly come again if I get the same rate.
Absolutely loved this hotel! Went down for 3 nights for a girl's weekend, and immediately fell in love with the staff at Hotel Astor especially Danny and Alex. They made us feel so comfortable and were so welcoming! The rooms were really big and
spacious. Only complaint I had about the room was that there was no door to the shower which I thought was a little strange. However, the location is great! Its on the same street as one of the best party spots, Clevelander. Overall, I had an amazing time in Miami, and I have Hotel Astor to also thank for my time there, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good time!
When we got to the hotel to check in, the lady at the desk offered us a better suite, free of charge, because our room was not ready as yet. She had awesome customer service. Hotel Astor was very comfortable and our suite was very clean. Going in
and out of the hotel, there was always someone opening to door for us. It was a group of six of us, on a spring break trip, and we all loved this hotel. Hotel Astor made our trip even more worth-while.
Miami is my 2nd home, i love Ocean Dr, but love to stay away from the noise when resting..Astor was the place to be! Staff was AMAZING, location was GREAT..only 2 aves from Wet Willies and rest of strip...1st time at this particular hotel, and
WON'T be my last
We stayed here a long weekend in March. Everything was wonderful except the housekeeping. We like to sleep in and the housekeeping would only come before 12 and then not come back until we would request it from the front desk the next day. It
wasn't a huge deal for us, but some people may find this annoying. Overall, good experience with this hotel and would stay again.
Location is amazing specially if you rent a car, since you don´t have to go through all traffic at Collins Ave. to get to your hotel, rooms are clean, seems old and screams out for a remodelation, but it did worked for us. I would recomend it.
