Affordable Art Deco hotel across from the beach entrance

Not a nice surprise
My wife and I were just staying here for one night as we vacationed on South Beach. The location of the hotel was great, parking was a struggle as we had tigons our own spot in a public garage. When we went in the room there was someone's sunglasses on the dresser and a broom that the maids had left. In the bathroom was an old dirty pair of underwear sitting on the shelf with the towels we were supposed to use. That was disgusting and unsanitary to leave a room in that condition.

Great Location
This hotel is in one of the best locations in SOHO. You can walk to many great spots, Beach, Lincoln Ave, Dining, etc. If you are the type that goes on vacation to stay in your hotel this is not the place for you. There is not much to do in the hotel itself except swim in the beautiful pool. This is the perfect hotel if you need a nice clean place to sleep. The refrigerator and hot plate were nice but I would have perfered a Microwave over the hot plate. There were dishes, glasses, silverware and cups but no pots or pans which kind of makes the hot plate useless anyway. I have been to SOHO a few times before and stayed in a different hotel each time. From now on when I visit I will try to get this hotel.

Take the bus to the Aventure Mall. Last stop on the line. You will travel for about an hour and see most of Miami Beach for $2.00 one way.

Perfect location, nice swimming pool
As regards the rooms, sure it needs some improvements ! Staff, especially at the front desk, is just above the average : could be more courteous !

Great location, terrible service
The location of this hotel was excellent and extremely convenient. However, the staff was simply rude, not helpful and very hard to deal with. Keep in mind it says they have parking but they don't. The empty spots were apparently taken at all times even though no cars were parked. I will not stay here again.

Great Location, Clean
Great hotel if you are looking for something less expensive but close to everything on South Beach. We were most concerned about a clean room -- the room was spotless. Older hotel but great experience.

A Nightmare!
After one night I was moved to a room next door, really for no reason. I left the apple mac charger in the room and the phone charger. I realized I left it and asked for it back and only got the phone charger back. The $70 dollar charger was stolen. The manager refused to give his name and then threatened to call the police on me because I insisted something be done about the stolen charger. He informed me that this hotel is never responsible for any theft that occurs in the rooms. Horrendous. A shabby place in every and all ways. I have travelled the world and this is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Beware!

Book only if you plan to be drunk all the time
Horrible hotel... We were planing to stay in Miami for the weekend but I could not stand sleeping in that room for one more night. The first night was okay because I was drunk... Pay a bit more and get a better deal... I have learned my leason.

Super location!!!
I came to this hotel just to sleep, so whole my time I was partying or spending time on the beach. I'm glad I cheked in here cause of location - heart of south beach! It was really money savings trip!

location is key! if you're not too picky on amenities and just need a place to crash, hands down best choice.
